New improvement updates today for both tech leading William Hill apps. The sports app remains the best out there, so user friendly with wide ranging sports and attractive offers for users. The WH Vegas app is currently no 1 uk based casino download on Apple Store ahead of Sky, Ladbrokes, PP & Bet365. 888 is just behind in list. Dream set of football results last night with all 4 favs failing to win inc often well backed Liverpool, Chelsea & Man City all at odds on, bookies night of the season |
Thanks. I remember they got in at 80p on average. |
I'm in agreement ONS ;)) |
And yet I have seen outfits do exactly that on more than one occasion, so it is clearly not set in stone. Not that it matters. I am bullish this name and subject to the obvious caveats, not planning on dumping on a sell the news trade. What I hold is firmly in the investment pot, with the hope of an eventual return of dividends, or perhaps another bid at a price that would tempt me to take the offer. As to the other poster: it appears a case of crossed wires. So apologies in that case. But you are incorrect that I am unable to make up my mind here. Not that it matters either way. GLA. |
Nah, the notice of trading statement is not the vehicle for ANY guidance. That is THE job for the self explanatory 'Trading Statement' itself and quite bizarre to think otherwise. Trading will be ahead. If you look to the 2 companies that were short and have closed positions recently, they suggest this. The one left happily still short has many shorts out there & will be seen to not understand the industry if the company by Friday am.Flutter have beaten in the UK and Entain were also positive on the UK. William Hill/evoke has less sports exposure abroad so the huge number of Premier League upsets over the Q & Hills vastly improved (losing) offers to punters to bet will see a decent rerating and an understandably positive outlook. |
Who do you think I'm referring to??;)) |
Eh? We are not the same poster, if that is what you were implying. |
Tanks for the reply ONS. ;))) |
How so, baldrick1? I am confident in the management, as I have detailed on the other board previously. And they should be within guidance, as the RNS today would have said otherwise. Equally, that they have not suggested top end or above estimated guidance, makes me think it will be bang in the middle. But as long as they show debt coming down and optimism in the forward-looking statement, then that will be fine by me. I had a 57p buy order the other day that did not fill. But I am not chasing the price, so close to actual, material news. A sensible strategy, in my view. I have a core holding here though and will take a view on how to further proceed after said update.
