I live in Spain so i had no idea that Monday will be a Bank Holiday. But surely you just had one the other day ? Thought that the idea of leaving Europe was to regain your national identity, but it seems that you are fast developing a Spanish style obsession with Fiestas !!!

Bumpa, see my post 1842, will be gobsmacked if we dont get some sort of rns on Monday morning , even if it is just a holding in company.

As i posted earlier, I am somewhat surprised that we have still not seen a "holdings" rns in respect of the high volume that we saw more than 3 days ago ( such disclosures normally have to be made within 3 days of the dealing taking place ). Whilst I accept that some of the 20 m shares that changed hands that day might have been retail selling/retail buying, i suspect that it would have only been 4 or 5 m at the most , ( as other posters have written here, the bulletin boards , normally a good indicator of the level of retail involvment , are not exactly loaded with comments ) , so probably a seller/sellers sold about 6 or 7 million, and a buyer/buyers bought about the same amount. It would be surprising ( but not impossible ) if a party on one side or the other ( or perhaps parties on both sides ) had not passed through a disclosable level as a result of these transactions. Moneymunch seems to think that following Friday's rns about a funding proposition, certain investors have the right to load up, and whilst that might be true to a certain extent, it would only hold good for a purchase of less than 4 m shares ( being 3 % of the total issued equity ). All very odd, extremely interesting, and in my opinion definitely worth staying along for the ride !!!

One last thing, having read up a fair bit on this, the results that EVG are getting in late stage ER+ metastatic breast cancer are pretty impressive, putting it mildly.

Anyway, a good weekend to all 12 of us :)

Good to hear Toffeeman, and me too, unlike so many other saddo's who trawl these threads....and yes Bumpa, nothing more to be said as such until news lands, unless anyone comes up with any worthwhile research and relevant information that might help join up a few dots...Gl to all....Excitement building!!! :-)

mm - I’d let it lay until we have something worth talking about, if people don’t want to get their hands dirty as it were, then that’s their loss :)

Lol, well we can disregard Toffeeman as he's never posted anything relevant to proceedings whatsoever since I've been here...do you actually own shares in the company or unlike chuffer and co a serial stalker in disguise...ha ha ha :')

Ps Bumpa, EVG is still under the radar imho and speculating on a share you're invested and highlighting potential and prospects on the share forum of the share is not ramping imho...the CEO leaving, the timing of Friday's Rns and the content of Friday's Rns , the incredibly huge late reported trades , suggests that something big is going on behind the scenes, and there's going to be plenty green with envy when news lands...Gl;-)

Look, I could be putting 2 and 2 and coming up with 50, we won’t know until we know - but it’s intriguing and it’s going on pretty much under the radar and I like situations like this where retail are not in on it, let alone taking notice of it. Let’s see how it plays out.

The only times I can think, where I’ve seen a CEO walk with no immediate replacement yet the parting of the ways has been amicable is either an outright takeover/buyout or a merger/big stake taken in the target. I can’t see it being a takeover/buyout so that would leave the latter.

And before anyone accuses me of ramping, to all 6 of us here, maybe take into account just that - there’s only 6 of us here...!

I’m wondering if this ‘source of funding’ is something a bit more. First the CEO walks - with no replacement lined up, shortly after company announces these ‘talks’ on Friday afternoon, price spikes and quickly settles back down to this 13/14 range. Then Monday we get the biggest volume day ever in the stock. Could we be looking at the ‘source’ having actually taken/in the process of taking a stake in the company, putting one of its own on the board as well as providing funding? As yet no TR1’s for that volume.

That Friday afternoon RNS struck me as odd at the time, it wasn’t needed, there wasn’t an appreciable percentage move that would’ve necessitated an RNS - and yet we get a brief and vaguely worded one?

There’s not really any interest here, hardly any on LSE, I stuck a post up on twitter a few days back to see what response I’d get there as a test - 2 likes and no comment, so there’s no following there either. So we can safely assume this is well under the retail radar and they’d have little to do with that big volume day.

Mesquida, over 600k sells so far, ( more fool them ) will be accumulated by those in the know...I still reckon that last Friday's Rns allowed insiders to accumulate. Gl ;-)

Ps we had a Share Code 300 this morning , for the believers...:-)

We really don't need your presence here. I always think it is very sad when posters follow other people around threads. We are all grown up here and can make our own judgements without your input!
