24/5/2018 19:44 | Nexen to drill Iolar in the Porcupine next year, otherwise nothing else, except of course for Barryroe, so that would be good going. Nexen will have a rig, they are partnered with Faroe in another licence adjacent to Corrib, perhaps they might be interested in farming in to 16/20, if Vermilion don't already? | rogerlin
24/5/2018 12:45 | Hugh says a target spud date of 1st June next year for Inishkea | currypasty
24/5/2018 12:41 | Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) PLC's (LON:EOG) Hugh Mackay tells Proactive that the company has elected to relinquish its LO16/21 license off the west coast of Ireland to focus on the LO16/20 gas prospects at Inishkea. Mackay adds that shift in focus is toward a lower risk play, with an exploration well having a target spud date of 1 June 2019. Europa is also "punching above its weight" in the region, standing equal to other regional players such as Exxon Mobil and StatOil, Mackay says | currypasty
24/5/2018 11:18 | New video from Hugh on proactive investor - sound fairly upbeat. Talking about offshore Ireland and a small bit re Holmwood. | cheek212
24/5/2018 10:27 | I guess nobody knows the answer to 7109. | los ricos
24/5/2018 09:56 | yes keep up the optimism! | bountyhunter
24/5/2018 09:55 | 7113, lol!! | dunderheed
24/5/2018 09:37 | Spangle / CP, hear what you're saying but cant remember where it was posted by a fan club member but there was some sort of news promises by mgt during May. If that is the news then I'm disappointed. Don't see just because there's another promote company in the vicinity that eog has to react to this by issuing its own rns as well? All imho of course. | dunderheed
24/5/2018 09:23 | that's a good theory spangle, I hope we are a predators lunch | currypasty
24/5/2018 09:12 | Surely todays' news item was forced by Predator's launch, rather than because anything exciting has happened. | spangle93
24/5/2018 08:35 | when are scc hearing the new tmp from EOG? | los ricos
24/5/2018 08:28 | 2020....sheesh Just get a move on instead of eating up our placing monies. | los ricos
24/5/2018 08:26 | "We will not hesitate to exercise technical and commercial judgement" .. A bit worrying that you actually have to say that .. there was I thinking things seem to be taking a long time to progress. | itsriskythat
24/5/2018 08:24 | Funnily enough I was reviewing all the Corrib licences yesterday and the wells that have been drilled to date. Only Statoil ventured northwards from Corrib with the drill bit and came up empty and 21 is really too far from Corrib to warrant further examination at the moment. You really do have to read between the lines in this RNS and it all makes sense. I am pretty sure that EOG are actively planning to follow the PVR model and start the drill process themselves raising finance just the way PVR did. As Hugh said it will be a company maker and in that regard that is when EOG will be bought/sold - that is the long term goal of the company after all to be sold at a price that realises value for shareholders. Extending the life of Corrib is essential for all the players and Vermillion have allocated $20m for a 2 well program in 2020 in order to boost production. Their reservoir model is behaving as it should and they can accurately predict the lifespan of the field now. Two wells have been drilled in our licence (20) and both discovered gas. That part of the exploration risk is now extremely small - an active hydrocarbon province producing gas close to existing infrastructure. Hugh has placed a timeline on it - by 2020 we will be drilling a company maker well with a relatively high cnance of success and one that is essential to Ireland's energy supply strategy. In the next few weeks Vermillion should be approved as the new operator and I hope that at that time more will be revealed..... | jusmasel99
24/5/2018 08:12 | posters on here are quite tame compared to lse.. thanks to peaky blinder2 "Get used to it guys its been ever thus for 7 plus years. Hugh couldn't find a drill bit if he lived at drill dive, just outside of drills ville. Dr1 1ll. The company maker statement is 18 months a way has been suggested for over 5 years. By all means read old rns if you are new to the share. I'm not greedy, please Hugh, drill something, anything. If it's a duster fine but even if it's relatively small it will cover overheads until Ireland is at last drilled. Stop looking at maps and data Hugh, drill. At the very least start being over prepared for appeal meetings with no stone......." | currypasty
24/5/2018 07:56 | 7101, are you saying get rid of all promote Ireland licences then? Just wondering because no other companies appear to have farmed in (yet) and was also wondering when I'm going to see a return in MY investment in EOG? Is this what the (new) senior mgt are waiting for, b4 THEY buy more shares in eog? | dunderheed
24/5/2018 07:52 | Thrilling! | rayrac
24/5/2018 07:32 | Are those new 'senior management' still restricted from buying shares in EOG or is it still secret squirrel stuff stopping them? Just arsking like.... It's been a bit if a bloody muted reaction from the fan club this morning? Come on guys let's be hearing your analysis of this. | dunderheed
24/5/2018 07:29 | Wow that was really really worth waiting for. | dunderheed
23/5/2018 14:44 | Ah right yes CP that is the only outstanding I think?! | dunderheed
23/5/2018 12:37 | dunder... TMP | currypasty |
