16/8/2017 09:07 | PVR picking up this morning - might be a good time to get a few more EOG | 7russell
14/8/2017 22:45 | Heads up Seller cleared at AAOG... $800m spud in 4 weeks!! AAOG without doubt in play now seller out with that 1m sell printed after hours. Fincapp valuations: Mengo hit 750bopd - £70m MCAP - £1 Djeno hit 10k bopd - £750m MCAP - £10 So £11 potential vs 28p share price Current market cap is only £10m once cash is stripped out. £10m cap vs $1billion potential... No brainer at these levels. 60p+ target at least prior to spud in 4 weeks | timw3
14/8/2017 17:36 | Sez who? You? Trap shut until the drill bit lets us know. There are no certainties in the oil business, just Gypsy Rose Lee types | rayrac
14/8/2017 17:15 | On no I wasn't, I've just stated my opinion that Drombegs a more robust target than Druid. Even then the COS will be lucky to be a one in four shot. The balance of probability is and has always been that Drombeg will fail. | ngms27
14/8/2017 16:50 | That's ironic you were one of the one talking it up!! | guesswhosback
14/8/2017 16:29 | More likely it's didly squat | ngms27
14/8/2017 16:28 | punters sounding a bit more cheerful on PVR today, talk that failing oil in Dromberg, there could be gas... good for us if it is | currypasty
14/8/2017 12:30 | Egdons comments this morning.. Egdon's next drilling activity is likely to be the Holmwood-1 conventional exploration well in Weald Basin licence PEDL143 (Egdon 18.4%) where the operator, Europa Oil and Gas ("Europa"), has advised that they expect to commence operations later in 2017 once all final approvals are in place. In addition to targets in the Portland and Corallian sandstones, where the operator has estimated mean prospective resources of 5.6 mmbls of oil ("mmbo") (net Egdon 1.03 mmbo), the well will also test the highly prospective Kimmeridge Limestone play. The Horse Hill-1 well (UK Oil and Gas Investments plc ("UKOG")) is located some 8 kilometres to the east of Holmwood in a similar structural position and tested 323 barrels of oil per day ("bopd") from the Portland Sandstone and 1,365 bopd in total from two intervals in the Kimmeridge Limestone. Egdon is largely carried on the Holmwood-1 well by UKOG. Over the next few months extended well tests at Horse Hill and Brockham (Angus Energy plc) and testing at Broadford Bridge (UKOG) will provide further insights into the commerciality of the Kimmeridge Limestone play and its potential at Holmwood. | currypasty
14/8/2017 11:03 | He also predicted a P&A this am at 7am. | guesswhosback
14/8/2017 10:42 | Sorry ngms, but you are first rate at something...being a prat! An utter one at that. Spouting off as though you are an expert at the forecasting business. 👉🏿 | rayrac
14/8/2017 10:01 | UJO up 7%, we have just turned blue.. | currypasty
14/8/2017 08:15 | some read across.. | currypasty
13/8/2017 04:11 | Wressle Planning Appeal - I am a newsagent hence up so early - but had time this morning just to check up on the latest dates etc from the PLanning Inspectorate. One of them caught my attention. In October both sides have to submit a statement of common ground. Who will be submitting this on behalf of NorthLincs? The planning department? Because they recommended approval. They totally agree with our original application. Or does the council appoint a legal team to represent the views of the opposing councillors? The councillors that overruled the Environment Agency. It really is an extraordinary waste of money. | jusmasel99
10/8/2017 16:39 | As I suggested BB-1 would produce zero hydrocarbons. It seems others have forced them to admit that they have drilled a sidetrack. Will this be any better? Short term maybe, but after a few months I'm expecting a trickle. | ngms27
10/8/2017 16:30 | Update on activities at BB. | rogerlin
10/8/2017 16:15 | Agree actually got a bit ahead of myself there! | dunderheed
10/8/2017 16:06 | I'd think they 6 or 7 days away from Drombeg results yet. This time next week Rodney. | ngms27
10/8/2017 14:46 | Wasn't clear in my post. Saying although the chance smaller imho for hc's now (none earlier hence my hunch) - in theory they could very much still be there - due to a very strong seal- hence no hcs present 'above' - would have thought there would have at least been some shows and some 'market indications' (ahem) of this - if that were the case. Weather allowing they've got to be pretty close to 'reservoir' now? | dunderheed
10/8/2017 14:09 | No oil but nice seal would be the worst possible result for the Porcupine. It would make it far less likely that anyone would farm-in or drill another well given a lack of source. Drombeg looks as robust as it gets from Seismic for a Cretaceous Fan with probable source almost immediately below. | ngms27
10/8/2017 13:53 | I'm going for complete duster - no h/cs present. Could be totally wrong though as very nice seal? Jus by the way am certainly not a geo! | dunderheed
10/8/2017 13:35 | Just bought a few more. Was waiting until the Drombeg result incase it's a duster but with UKOG about to flow test I'm thinking that should keep the share price fairly well up (and if Drombeg is a success the sky's the limit). | 4sta
09/8/2017 17:53 | France is written off completely Rogerlin - they have announced a ban on all new drilling whether for oil or gas. I await a reaction from Vermillion but they have significant investment there - producing close to 10k bpd. Wressle as far as I recall did come in ;-) !! Holmwood looks a safe bet at least up until TD Drombeg - who knows? Corrib - somebody knows! | jusmasel99
09/8/2017 17:03 | They could all come in, Wressle, Holmwood, Drombeg, and of course Corrib. Only France looks a total write off, looking at the website I see that the deal with Vermilion in 2015 seems to be still awaiting clearance by the authorities, that's no progress in two years, worse than the bats. | rogerlin
09/8/2017 08:56 | wressle, holmwood, druid... Id like to see plan 'D' | currypasty |
