26/7/2017 15:00 | Herm, Good lord man, perhaps wait until the flow rates before you make a declaration like that. I no longer hold that out of control Juggernaut at the moment but money flow still suggests a +ve result but lacks upside for re-entry. Even a stunning flow rate would have its work cut out to support their cap. Regards, Ed. | edgein
26/7/2017 14:56 | Jus,De lunatics are running that particular asylum. Not commercial. | hermana3
26/7/2017 14:54 | Totally insane Ed. Glad I am not in that one. Fingers will be burnt for sure. | jusmasel99
26/7/2017 14:50 | Hmm makes you wonder if UKOG are getting flow rates similar to the naturally fractured areas of free flowing Austin chalks (not a direct comparison of course because they're much deeper and more gassy). It'll be really interesting to read the details of their flow test when announced. Perhaps its just a bull trap on large volume. We'll find out before Holmwood anyway, but its a fascinating watch, I sold way too early given the current price action it seems. :) Regards, Ed. | edgein
26/7/2017 14:40 | Good lord UKOG has went insane! By far the cheapest of these KL players is now EOG by an absolute country mile. Should really be £30m easily on the Irish AM licences alone. Funnily enough speaking of hype SOU had a market cap of £100m+ before Morocco based solely on Badile hype and it was a fraction of our Irish asset potential before it was drilled, even less than that now of course. No hype priced in here as yet, was just over sold at £15m. Regards, Ed. | edgein
26/7/2017 12:34 | Seems UKOG is on the move again today whilst we have shrunk back a little! A little disappointed!! | cheek212
26/7/2017 10:39 | NGMS- Do you think that EOG would sell their stake in Holmwood rather than continue with the income? I guess as operator, they will have a lot of insight to the future? | guesswhosback
26/7/2017 10:31 | ngms, What do you think HH would produce on a long-term test? | lowflow
26/7/2017 09:35 | A little snippet from our ex MD suggests that he knows of a very accessible spot closer to the A34? and the railway for drilling a production well ... | jusmasel99
26/7/2017 09:34 | I agree in any development phase it's going to take many well pads to drill out Holmwood. But my views are it's a long shot and EOG wouldn't be involved.Chicken and eggs spring to mind, though shorter term I'm happy to ride the hype. | ngms27
26/7/2017 09:22 | Roger, Never gonna drill the entire 90km sq Holmwood licence from one pad in Brockham which already has several wells. ANGS are in on Holmwood licence too, but as you say too many parties involved in Holmwood to do a deal with ANGS et al. I cannot see Hugh exchanging a Holmwood interest for a Brockham interest. But you could see them trying some new completions with significant horizontal sections through the fractured limestones. Regards, Ed. | edgein
26/7/2017 09:18 | That is an option using a multiple well pad using long reach horizontals. However I very much doubt that they have the permits in place to do anything post the current well. Then of course they have to prove the concept first, which in my opinion is a long way off at present. | ngms27
26/7/2017 09:11 | “The technology today such as octopus drilling means you can cover 20-square kilometres from an area the size of two tennis courts.” Quote from a recent Lenigas piece. It's a pity the co-venturer groups at Brockham and Holmwood are so different, otherwise might as well drill it all from Brockham as they have the permits (or so they say). | rogerlin
26/7/2017 09:02 | GWB, lol! I know what you mean a tight old sod that Mr Pasty. He's been too busy scrooging away some in the open offer and excess I bet too. Regards, Ed. | edgein
26/7/2017 09:00 | Ed. Curry doesn't spend a penny. No one has ever seen his wallet. More likely to see a positive Wressel decision. | guesswhosback
26/7/2017 08:56 | Riddle of the sands? Really? | ngms27
26/7/2017 08:56 | I buy the Geological story but I am skeptical that there could ever be a full field development given the sensitivities around this subject. Hence the UKOG valuation looks bonkers to me for example. | ride daice
26/7/2017 08:53 | I saw a great summary/history yesterday of UKOG and the Weald. Really honest and unhyped reporting - I just can't remember where - anyway at last somebody put in print just how lucky they were to come across this and put into perspective the risks ahead for them. The oil is there for sure. Natural Fractures yes. Permeability Mmmm. Probably. Flow rates are the open question as well as the cost/benefit ratio of horizontal drilling. There is still a lot to find out but they are getting closer to solving the riddle of the sands. We are exceptionally lucky to be in this position. Timing really. The next big well to drill into the weald by (and I think this is important) an unconnected operator to the HHDL crew. If it confirms the Weald Kimmeridge which I am sure it will then I think their will be more respect from the industry. | jusmasel99
26/7/2017 08:52 | just stick a nought on the end? level 2 is two market makers on the BID at 9p, one market maker on the ASK at 9.25 Six market makers in total, all dealing 30k blocks | currypasty
26/7/2017 08:41 | Curry, If Druid comes in too you'll need to invest in a new abacus. Regards, Ed. | edgein
26/7/2017 08:36 | I can count to 10 and that's where we will be shortly...imho | currypasty
26/7/2017 08:25 | Jus. Thanks for making the effort to work that out. Curry would never have got there, he hasn't got enough toes. I cannot believe UKOG price. Something has to catch on here if the weald is so big. | guesswhosback
26/7/2017 08:09 | 8p * on ukog, come on Huge, lets get this party started | currypasty |
