18/7/2017 12:16 | Guys guys guys, can we get a dose of reality here. The chances of (commercial) success on the current pvr well. Everyone gets disappointed when this does not occur when the reality is it is very unlikely! All posts are constantly about success success success, let's try and temper with some realism please? I get the Weald argument but at the end of the day try and expect non success so anything else is a pleasant surprise!! | dunderheed
18/7/2017 10:59 | 15% will get a carried drill for sure depending on the result of Druid/Drombeg and of course the seismic. But Ireland is not the be all and end all. Wressle and Holmwood coming up in the near future. Results from Brockham and Broadford Bridge to stimulate interest. EOG is currently a massively undervalued Weald player as things stand which means that there is nothing in the share price for Irish prospects. | jusmasel99
17/7/2017 17:20 | Farmed out 70% just to get some 3D shot....what about a well? Who's gonna pay for a well? Or will there be a further farm down to 10% or possibly even 5%? Ummm. | cinques
17/7/2017 12:43 | nobody interested it seems! | currypasty
17/7/2017 10:02 | new broker note out today on edr, obviously some parts of interest to us | currypasty
17/7/2017 07:59 | A technical update on the 976km2 LO 16/19 was previously released by the Company on 18 July 2016 in which Europa identified the potential for several Cretaceous submarine fans with gross mean un-risked prospective resources in the range of 300 million to 1 billion boe: hxxp://www.europaoil As announced on 8 March 2017, Europa farmed out a 70% interest in and operatorship of LO 16/19 to a wholly owned subsidiary of Cairn Energy PLC. Under the terms of the farm out, Europa will be carried for a US$6 million work programme which will include participation in the Crean 3D over LO 16/19: hxxp://www.europaoil | jusmasel99
17/7/2017 07:27 | No wonder Cairn farmed in to our LO16/19 - right next door to PVR's multi billion barrel Avalon target announced this morning. The PORCUPINE IS HOT! and we have a major share of its spines ..... not bad for a little £20m cap oiler ... | jusmasel99
16/7/2017 15:31 | Holmwood - LHAG update "bigger and longer-lasting oil-drilling de EOG must feel confident (and why wouldn't they), extending the period to allow for post-development water borehole monitoring. ymlp.com/z6LdKv | tommy241
14/7/2017 16:48 | Certainly higher lows but needs some news now. | guesswhosback
14/7/2017 16:30 | From January last year that chart above is looking pretty good in my opinion and the trend is sure to continue ... | jusmasel99
14/7/2017 14:45 | So which one will come in first? The Rooster, the hen, the chicken or the egg? My bet is on West Whisby .. that will really get the market moving ... another 8 barrels a day to our production figures! How much did our share price drop when Huge announced that? LOL those were the days... | jusmasel99
14/7/2017 14:45 | GWB, Well done to you and your son, he's got a good entry price. If there's not transformational news from Porcupine or Slyne he'll be sitting pretty for Holmwood as you suggest given the recent dip. Regards, Ed. | edgein
14/7/2017 14:22 | Edgein. I am beginning to think that the delay on Wressle has done me a favor! How crazy is that. I even told my son to buy a few and he missed the Wressle rise. Now hes sitting pretty at these prices. So much company changing news to follow here now. It seems quite strange waiting on 3 - 4 different stories as they unfold. Each with the potential to have a dramatic affect on EOG share price. | guesswhosback
14/7/2017 14:11 | Interesting posts chaps! Just goes to show its not just the upside of the Southern Porcupine AM and Holmwood on the cards but there's significant hope in the Slyne with these large licences that EOG have right alongside Corrib. 1.5Tcf prospective are nice expo targets to have that close to major infrastructure. Verm will be keen to get a few satellite discoveries in the wings when Corrib starts to decline as the article suggets. Looks like Hugh is lining all the ducks up in the right places. Folks can thank wressle for the cheapuns they grabbed recently. Regards, Ed. | edgein
14/7/2017 11:58 | we seem to have six market makers now, all quoting for 30k normal market size | currypasty

14/7/2017 07:51 | Very interesting Jus and one we really had overlooked as we didnt see the connection until now. Another good reason to be here investing. Thanks for the research. | guesswhosback
14/7/2017 05:36 | More interesting stuff on Corrib overnight .. This from the Irish Times .. "Indeed, the CPPIB’s head of natural resources, Avik Dey, told The Irish Times yesterday he is well aware of the level of interest in this particular region, the so-called Porcupine Basin. He indicated the fund may seek to increase its interests off the west coast in time – saying the Canadians would “evaluate other opportunities” in the region that may present themselves. “We think [Corrib] is an attractive asset in an attractive basin,” he said." This morning I received a reply from Vermillion to an enquiry I had made about Corrib stating that they would of course be looking at replacing production in due course and that Corrib is better than expected at the moment running at full capacity and expected to do so now until mid 2018. That would mean that there probably would be spare capacity for a new production field from about 2020 at projected decline rates - so they need to start looking pretty soon. Given the above who is to say that CPPIB wouldn't be interested in funding (part) an exploration well sooner rather than later...... | jusmasel99
13/7/2017 15:00 | “This is very exciting news for Europa. RD Shell had no interest in doing any further work on Corrib, one can assume that this will not be the case for the new Canadian partners,” the analyst said. “Corrib will require back fill gas in order to prolong its life and Europa is in the ideal position to provide it if exploration is funded and successful.” At present, Europa is analysing technical data (existing or ‘legacy’ seismic data) as it assesses the area’s exploration potential and, more broadly, the company is advancing farm-out processes to bring in partners to its Irish projects. Exploration partners sought for Irish ventures Earlier this year, Europa agreed its first Irish farm-out deal with Cairn Energy joining the company in a separate exploration venture in the Porcupine basin, in the Atlantic margin. | currypasty
