It may actually help us as it sign-posts us to what to cover in the application to Environmental Agency which is the last hurdle. Downstream emissions from using UK oil and gas have to be better or at least the same as consumers using foreign imports. Cover it off in the EA application. |
you would think Egdon would want to crack on, but there never seems much urgency |
The opportunity to appeal has gone. They had a prescribed window, they didn't use it. Crack on with the plans. |
It does make me confused and somewhat angry when I hear environmentalists constantly trying to stop more environmentally friendly home produced oil and gas. How ironic is that? I appreciate they argue that they want to stop all of it but even they concede that is currently not feasible. Bearing that in mind, shouldn’t they opt for the better option? Add in jobs and more energy security and it’s even more of a no brainer.
Also there’s no underlying logic in arguing this planning permission didn’t factor in downstream emissions. Surely that argument is neutral in the sense that there’s no difference in UK produced emissions or foreign import emissions. There won’t be more!!! The whole of the UK seems to have lost the plot.
Anyway..here’s hoping the EG farm-out comes through in the next few weeks and we can all toast Will Holland and his team. |
Agreed, best thing they’ve done is to move into EQ. Hopefully not too long for some news. |
Strengthens the case for us to get out of the UK. |
The Marxist are determined to destroy the UK economy and it's industries, and people's living standards, while countries like China and India laugh in our faces! |
I can’t see them being there without good reason tbh |
Looking more promising. Thanks Tommy. Suet |
Interesting…
Who knows but it could be they have a potential farm in partner to discuss with those key parties. I believe farm in partners usually require regulatory approval.
Could also just be me wearing rose-tinted glasses of course. :-)
On a pure risk reward basis this has to be worth a punt at these levels. |
Cheers Tommy. |
thanks tommy
i wonder if they have a jv lined up, and have to run it by the minister and our partners? |
A bit of a weird spread they’ve suddenly implemented. |
Those 1.03 trades today are buys. |
It’s a sell. Shows how keen the mm’s are to get stock. |
is the 420k a buy or sell |
Unlikely cash has risen,we’ve paid out $3 million dollars throughout this year to Antler.Last instalment this month.(4 payments from Dec’23) |
I bought again today. I sense it's undervalued at today's price. |
Where is the cash pile going coming from? I remember Will saying in a recent presentation that revenue from Wressle doesn’t quite cover expenses.
Also, is there going to be a hit in the financials due to the exit from Serenity?
I’m pretty loaded here so no deramping intended. Just want to be realistic as to what’s coming. |
very little stock arround now
results anytime, hoping for increase in cash pile |

According to serif on LSE
“FF/FG coalition without need for Greens” would be good for Eog. |
anyone on here up to speed on Irish political parties?
who is actually for (even remotely) their own grown gas industry ?
who is dead against oil and gas ? |
