I see that as of 2nd Jan the stock market has moved over to decimalisation / metrication, as can be seen on the market maker quotes now in 0.1 increments.

Unfortunately the MM's have seen this as an opportunity to substantially widen the spread, now 1p at mid 5.7 ( 17.5%)

Yes interesting option for Total. They're not actually committing to too much (for Total) but also interesting Capricorn (Cairn) walked away so haven't seen anything that interests them at all. You can see pvr have been very busy bd wise.
The Barry 'saga' continues but as an optimist I look at this positively but will probably come to nothing!!
All imho of course!!

Update from PVR. Cairn are not taking up their option on 20% of Avalon but Total have taken up theirs on Druid/Drombeg, not sure if this has any read across to the EOG/CNE licences.

Im in two minds if to dump a few just in case wressle is turned down as Irish seems a while off, and I just don't think Hugh is going to beat Holmwood lot.

Irish stuff - dont get me wrong but after the PVR result I think a lot of companies will be 're-thinking / working' all Ireland.
Of all that Slyne looks positive - all imho.
I sincerely hope some of your catalysts crystallise however with this 'shower' of a management team - who really knows - would really love to be proven wrong of course!

Plenty to look forward next year:

Drill at Holmwood with free flow from the Kimmeridge, progress at Wressle, seismic on Porcupine 16/19 with discovery of massive target, farm out to Vermilion of Slyne 16/20, successful drill by Nexen in the Porcupine re-igniting major interest in the basin ending with a take over of EOG at a huge premium.

Had you bought SQZ when I was blahhing on about them a couple of months ago you'd be up about 185% already, plus tbh another 300% (all imho blah blah) in the next year (on the original purchase price at that time).

Apart from Total, Providence and Sosina have signed an option agreement with Capricorn, a subsidiary of Cairn, whereby Capricorn has as the right to farm-in to a 20 percent, working interest in LO 16/27 from Providence & Sosina. The option can be exercised by Capricorn within 60 days of the completion (plugging and abandoning) of the upcoming 53/6-A well on Frontier Exploration Licence 2/14.

Cairn's 60 days to decide whether to farm in to Avalon are about up. If they do it will be a nice positive for their view of future prospects in the Porcupine.

the agm resolutions were passed by show of hands
total votes 57m, ie 1/6th of total of 300+ million shares

why arnt the total votes shown, that will be a different picture

Reading this latest Shareholder newsletter and sitting as I am on a tantalising break even point of 5.75p, I'm prepared to wait for future gains here.
