All being considered, at what share price would I consider going short?

Firstly, I've never put a short position on anything ever and I don't believe it is a morally acceptable practice, but, brushing that aside for a moment what would the share price need to be for me to consider it?

I think even in the high fifties a short position would still be at risk from a big hit. At over 75p I think the risk is about 50/50, so I'd want an share price of over 80p for there to be meaningful margin and acceptable risk...

But I don't agree with shorting generally.

Chart looking good to go with down trend since 38p top well and truly broken, the fib retrace of fall from 38p greater than .618 and the only very slight concern is if this latest rise is the result of Tracker funds buying in and not news being imminent. This will be clear in next day or so as we will either keep heading due north or the volume will drop and the share price will yet again settle back towards 30p - fingers crossed for the former and news to make us all smile.

Could hit the high of 37p today. I bet those that sold out kicking self. It gave chance for the big boys to buy in bulk. Everyone has now loaded up...
