20/10/2009 15:36 | Averaged down myself - any reason for the drop? | pelleeds1980
20/10/2009 15:21 | just bought 250k@1.02. | george6767
29/9/2009 10:59 | managed to get that placing away with barely a ripple. revenues are up, and improving. I'd still like to see the losses reducing faster. profitability still seems a long way off, but breakeven might just be possible in 2010. | backmarker
08/8/2009 00:40 | A few modest purchases over the last few days. Is there some activity on other BBs? Another contract win in the offing, perhaps? | outlook123
28/7/2009 20:50 | that's a decent sized late trade there today. heavy volume at PPR as well today!!! more bank security deals to come perhaps. | still waiting
28/7/2009 07:53 | good to see a few posters here, it was feeling a bit lonely. golspie, I fully agree on the bomb-proof products. which is why I'm glad they've got the lighting - I think this has a lot of mileage. gaining an NHS Trust as a customer is quite a coup in its way, just hope they didn't get screwed on margins. | backmarker
28/7/2009 00:40 | Outlook---this is not the first institution, Majedie had a holding for a while but are now out. | golspie
26/7/2009 10:15 | The current problem is that the bomb-proof product is corporate discretionary spend and this is a tough climate for discretionary spend. I suspect the best prospects lie overseas. | golspie
25/7/2009 08:48 | I've picked up a few of these in the last couple of days on the basis that any institution picking up shares at a low(ish) point for the share price will have done substantial research and due diligence; especially if they get c.10% of the company, which is similar to the CEO's stake. IMHO the current economic climate (high street shops being closed / boarded up etc.) plus continuing obsession with H&S should provide open goals for this company's products. Their alliance with PPR is a brave and innovative move which may prove to be very shrewd. I also bought into PXS & DDD at low points when major shareholders bought-in and both have risen steadily with vastly increased volumes / liquidity in the following months. | outlook123
24/7/2009 12:53 | you're right. they are listed on PLUS, and normally advfn will give you PLUS trades. but not PLUS:ERU.GB it seems. I have always thought the lighting was a good move when they acquired it. has a definite cost/benefits proposition. unfortunately security is more like insurance. | backmarker
23/7/2009 17:19 | So there is light at the end of the tunnel. Even if it is emergency lighting. I notice trades in this company still don't show up on advfn. | bantam175
17/7/2009 09:04 | Don't get too many RNS from ERU. I suspect it was prompted by Pentagon. Small but useful. May the trend continue. | backmarker
17/7/2009 09:01 | Good news. RNS Number : 8316V Pentagon Protection PLC 17 July 2009 ? RNS Release 17 July 2009 Pentagon Protection plc ('Pentagon') First major contract win from Pentagon and Eruma alliance Pentagon Protection plc, the AIM traded specialist in the supply and installation of enhanced glass protection and Eruma plc, the AIM traded specialist provider of counter terrorism, intruder prevention and emergency lighting products, have installed high-level security protection for one of the top five retail banks in the UK with a contract award value of GBP60,000. This installation is the first major contract award won by Pentagon and Eruma since the recently announced formation of its business alliance formed to jointly develop business globally within the counter terrorism and environmental protection markets which are worth in excess of GBP30 billion per annum. Pentagon has provided enhanced glass protection with the application of its glass containment window film and anchoring solutions for major banking organizations globally. Eruma has also supplied its Secur(TM) security blinds to all of the top five retail banks in the UK as well as many other commercial and public sector secure sites. Eruma CEO, Wayne Money said: "We are confident in selling Pentagon's range of enhanced glass protection products alongside our own Secur(TM) security blinds to both new and existing customers and this contract award, gained so quickly after our alliance announcement demonstrates how well these two products work together." Pentagon Chairman, Haytham ElZayn also commented: "The formation of this alliance has enabled both Pentagon and Eruma to offer a wider spectrum of product propositions and combinations to both existing and potential clients." | backmarker
17/7/2009 08:33 | Odd. Bought 65,000 @8:00 and nothing showing yet on advfn. | bantam175
10/6/2009 16:03 | Not surprised these are popular. Wouldn't have minded a few of those myself. At least it's not too dilutive. | backmarker
06/5/2009 12:00 | golspie, what was the story regarding BS then ? | backmarker
05/5/2009 20:50 | I'm no yes man. Those who needed to be told were provided with apprpriate information when the RNS was drawn to my attention by another PI. What good would a post here have done? | golspie
04/5/2009 23:25 | golspie Very easy to throw stones after the fact If you knew or thought you knew why didn't you bring it to our attention earlier Or are you just a yes man | holkham
30/4/2009 22:36 | The appointment of BS was the biggest sirprise to me--given her history--so her departure was expected. Out of her depth! | golspie
19/4/2009 01:43 | ERU's problem is that its product is really corporate discretionary spend so far as UK is concerned. It's better market will be in the Middle East and possibly the USA. Getting a first big deal will be the key to liftoff IMO.. | golspie |
