Having a good day today.

I've been a strong buyer of any stock under 4.5p, took the 25k today and bought several small lots around this level.

I think the sentiment and hype and tiny cap with cash rich can eventually get these to double figures this year, it's clearly very illiquid so moves fast at times.

I’ve just filtered Costa.

Much easier to ignore. Eventually costa won’t have a voice on the bb at all if everyone does the same...

I had an interesting email from Anton a couple or three days ago. There was nothing which had materially sensitive info in it, but i did get the impression that contrary to what people might think, Anton is acutely aware of investors views around Centerrs gold alliance conclusion, and the desires of investors to see something material happen with AbbeyTown, and the rest of their assets. Also reiterated previous commentary about their tight financial mgt, which seems to continue to be a central theme in whatever strategies they’re looking at for developing the company further...

It’s about as much I guess as you could hope for really.

Gives me a bit more confidence in the company.

Hi Lazygun, we don't really know how much abbeytown is worth as, as far as I can see, the underground and overground drilling has been halted for the winter and no attempts have yet been made to obtain a JORC Resource estimate for Abbeytown.

Originally , Merlin said he was "hoping" for 5-8 m tonnes of Lead Zinc at 5-8 g/tonne grades, but we have not seen anything in the way of firm grades or tonnages, to date. The fact that Eris are still looking for a JV Partner to finance the project bears testament to its potentially realtively small scale and the lack of extneions underground either to the ox Mountins fault, or west, to Skreen. But at the moment we just don't know and hence the current share price The last thing that NMerlin said to me, before he resigned was that production at Abbeytown wud either have to be "full scale or nothing" as small projects with limited underground mining donlt add up in the current financial climate.

The Scottish project is interesting as it is a continuation of the Highland Fault, which goes right over to Northern Ireland, where , as ADP says, Dalradian Got bought out 2 yrs ago, for not much money, in view of the quality of that project. Deposits in Scotlamd tend to be small, but high grade (as per Cononish) and relatively cheap to exploit, so there is perhaps some mileage in this project. It will nevertheless probably consume all of the Company's remaining cash, making a Placing inevitable.

Good look to everyone for the future and have a good Xmas, but I think that everything is still rather a long way away from a Meaningful result at any of their projects. Sweden is now practically a write-off anyway.

Well Outlaw, At least we now know the answer to the situation in Scandinavia - nothing happening and no current JV's to fund any potential work streams there either. Not good news - I thought it had all gone rather quiet.

As you say, Abbeytown not mentioned at all in the RNS, which could be either ominous, or good news ( a bit like a Prince Andrew/BBC interview ?!), but it's the almost complete silence from the BOD over the past year, which I find disturbing, especially as there are some seriously good people on that BOD.

Obtaining mining finance , or arranging JV's for Junior Mining Minnows is not easy at the moment and I was reading a piece by Graham Brown (one of the very good Erris BOD members) the other day , in a trade publication, bemoaning the general state of this end of the Mining Industry and the difficulty of alleviating the current situation. Exploration Companies are also struggling to find the next big Zinc Deposit, like Tara or Lisheen, in Ireland at present, any MANY are trying, but either cost, depth or poor geological structure are thwarting them.

Lets hope that Jeremy Martin, David Hall and Graham Brown , together with Aidan Lavelle (whom I rate) can come up with the goods. Not sure I have too much faith in ADP - he dusnt seem to behave much like a CEO to me ?! Bring back Merlin !

Interesting that there hasn’t been a mass exodus for the door though...

Maybe an overreaction?

Does Anton du Beck still even exist ?

LOL! Not sure he heard you, his update says nothing about Abbeytown.
A bit crafty releasing the update well after close of play - were they hoping no one will notice?

Very disappointed in the new guy and Aidan Lavelle and David Hall. This Company has just totally gone to sleep.

Where is the JV partner to take the Abbeytown Mine Forward ? Sweden and Finland look like dead dogs, although it isn't costing ERIS anything to develop them.

Lets have some new news PLEASE, Anton, and hopefully not a PLACING either !.....

SO what is actually happening there now then ?

Is the JV anything like imminent, or this a "Boris Truth" ?

Lets hope that it is , otherwise this is going to turn into another Connemara/ Arkle Resources - i.e. death by a thousand cuts and/or Placings !

News coming on Finland and Sweden, by the sounds of it Finland looking positive, still working on Jv in Sweden, Anton did meet with investors at the AGM, shareholders were informed of the meeting, only about 15 in attendance. Company progress with low cash burn and key to unlocking potential is in Jv agreement which will also give us cash for new asset.

Sakiatieva in North Finland ranks as the most interesting in terms of potential for significant mineralisation. Erris Resources PLC (LON:ERRIS) wil continue with a 'disciplined approach' to expenditure on its projects in Ireland and Scandinavia given the tough backdrop for junior miners at present.

At the end of August, Erris held approximately €1.7mln in cash.

The junior has an agreement with Centerra Gold over acreage in Finland and Norway where ground-truthing and prospecting got underway at the Sakiatieva and Pirunkoukka reservation permits in Finland in June.

Erris aims to identify drill targets on one or more of the projects, which may lead to Centerra Gold electing a Designated Project Area for an earn-in.

Sakiatieva in North Finland ranks as the most interesting in terms of potential for significant mineralisation.

In Ireland, at Abbeytown, soil samples have indicated a number of new zones of mineralisation that could potentially indicate a much larger deposit.

A preliminary metallurgical study also showed good quality lead and zinc concentrates can be produced using a standard flotation process with excellent recoveries ‘while the concentrate is clean with respect to penalty elements and the grindability characteristics of the mineralised sample are positive’.

“The results further reinforce our confidence in the economic potential of the Abbeytown Project.”

RNS today: So, no news for a whole quarter, then an RNS telling us that nothing has happened, except cash has gone down by Euro 500,000.

Clearly, JV partners and potential Funders are steering well clear in the current uncertain Global Economic & Political Environment. It's not at all clear what will happen to trade in hte Borders Region of the Republic of Ireland (of which Sligo is a Part), post any Brexit (or Non-Brexit) scenario.

Looks like it's a "wait & see" approach from the BOD , whilst trying to conserve any remaining cash & spending more time advancing their other major project at HZM ? Centerro Projects in Sweden don't seem to have yielded anything so far either ?

IMHO. DYOR. GLA.

Anybody hear any news Re: Abbeytown JV/Sale ?

Seems Dead as a Dodo to me - share price is where it's at because there has been no effective real news for 6 months and ADP STILL hasn't presented to Shareholders, after nearly a YEAR of being in Office.

At least Merlin TALKED to people ! Major PR revision/reawakening required here, otherwise Sp will just die the death of silence.
