16/10/2017 17:10 | tighfist, you bet. The pessimists think Eros are going down the pan and have run out of money. The company statements are full of confidence and this is backed up by another reduction in the RCF. Paying the bond interest will be another milestone showing that there is still some cash about. A share issue would be very welcome for me as this would allow repayment of some short term high interest finance. Leaving the bondholders in a much more comfortable position. A catalogue sale would also work but this also reduces the value of the remaining assets. | ![]() grahamg8
16/10/2017 08:22 | Hi Graham8,There was a brief sentence within the 6th October results that reported the RCF had been renewed on 30th September and reduced from $85m to $53m. I guess that you are looking for more info on the bigger picture?Cheers, tightfist | ![]() tightfist
15/10/2017 12:46 | Interest should be paid tomorrow. Still need an announcement on refinancing or catalogue sale to start a strong uptrend in the shares and bonds. The recent rise has just brought everything back to recent historical levels. | ![]() grahamg8
05/10/2017 22:30 | probably some shorts closing before results tomorrow. | ![]() lonrho
05/10/2017 21:17 | I did say "could".....On fire on NYSE tonight, what's cooking?? | ![]() tightfist
04/10/2017 10:46 | You're assuming Eros would win @tightfist ;) | ![]() spectoacc
04/10/2017 08:47 | Interesting to turn the tables on the raiders. Now... if Burford BUR were to finance the litigation that could be a lovely and sweet Win-Win for me! | ![]() tightfist
03/10/2017 15:43 | Ha ha, hope they know what they're doing... Maybe they'll get enough in damages to cover the debt? :) | ![]() spectoacc
03/10/2017 15:10 | Eros has announced it is suing the various contributors to the negative articles, mainly on seeking alpha, for damages. This obviously follows on from the judge throwing out the class action cases against them. | ![]() lonrho
03/10/2017 09:36 | Ha, we've been disappointed many times before! -50% is as likely as funding situation being resolved IMO. We'll see - as you say above, Class Action is done with & shares are well up, with 30th Sept been & gone. | ![]() spectoacc
03/10/2017 09:27 | I am expecting a resolution of the ongoing funding situation on Friday. The NYSE share price suggests that is in the wind..... or is it just shorters baling out? | ![]() tightfist
02/10/2017 18:00 | ERO.NY rising slightly today. Q1 results out on Friday. | ![]() grahamg8
28/9/2017 09:40 | Hi Specto, Yes, ERO1 is on a more respectable trajectory, at least for the time being..... Are you expecting an imminent EROS re-financing announcement? The 3rd April announcement extended the current financing arrangements through 30th September.... I haven't noted any more deferrals maybe you have you? Possibly within an announcement you mentioned whereby the Bonds were reclassified as senior debt. Today is the 28th and I wondered if the cessation of the Class Action was part of getting the deckchairs in place for the funding resolution (and hopefully getting ERO1 up where I think it could be). Cheers, tightfist | ![]() tightfist

28/9/2017 08:13 | I've long since given up worrying about the machinations of ERO1, but always nice when it goes gangbusters for a while. | ![]() spectoacc
14/9/2017 17:11 | tightfist, for Eros it is unusual. Going in opposite directions today! | ![]() grahamg8
13/9/2017 08:07 | I doubt they'd redeem ERO1 early, unless it's eg a tender at well below par. But agree they're not a big component of the debt, and could look quite attractive if/when Eros sort their financing. Share price says they'll be successful. | ![]() spectoacc
12/9/2017 18:13 | The plan seems to be to sell some of or maybe all of their content library, pay off their remaining bank debt and then apparently reverse the US holding company into the quoted Indian subsidiary. I suppose its possible that as part of this they could buy back/redeem their UK bonds as its chicken feed compared to the $1 billion they are rumoured to want for the content. Of course none of this may happen and they owe the banks $40 million out of an original 120m payable by the end of September. The banks originally extended the $120m deadline so its doubtful they would not extend the smaller amount. Of course Eros have over $100m in cash but some people doubt it exists or if it does is available to pay off the debt. | ![]() lonrho
12/9/2017 17:35 | Shares and Bonds going in the same direction is revolutionary!Today' | ![]() tightfist
12/9/2017 16:18 | Shares are strong on NYSE (+10% in two days) is it just Shorts closing?Meanwhile the spread has opened-up on the Bonds, trying to make sense of today's trades is not easy. Maybe the 150k is a delayed trade reported at a confusing time?Anyone see any rumours/news on the financing package? | ![]() tightfist
02/9/2017 10:03 | We won't know we are out of the woods until the terms of any refinancing are released, or a cash rich deal on the back catalogue is announced. But the mood seems to have changed: 77.8% of shares are held by just 9 major shareholders. So there is little liquidity. Trading volume therefore becomes important, and it's good at the moment. Friday close $12.25 (+25%)on 2.35m trades against 13.31m free float. Does someone know something? Brokers also seem quite keen. 3 rated as strong buy and 1 as buy. | ![]() grahamg8
02/9/2017 07:46 | Until the next bear attack/ "They're running out of money" / "They're a bust fraud". :) Bonds shouldn't be nearly as choppy (or low) as they are IMO. Still - looking forward to 2021 redemption when it comes (& the coupons along the way). | ![]() spectoacc
02/9/2017 00:49 | Seen Eros stock today? Bonds look like a good buy at the moment | ![]() jhan66
31/8/2017 17:44 | ERO.NY above $10 for the first time in a month seems at last to be dragging ERO1 up behind it. | ![]() grahamg8 |
