22/4/2014 07:43 | good morning rivaldo, yes I reckon the US market is starting to recognise Eros as a tech play rather than just a film production/distribut | czar
21/4/2014 22:46 | New highs tonight. The latest release Main Tera continues to perform well and is a big winner against its budget. Czar, I'm hoping for a trading statement for the 31/3 year end any day now and am also confident that the news will be good. But as you say, once the investment community sees the digital potential for this company then who knows how far the price can go. | rivaldo
17/4/2014 07:44 | I would expect to see results end May/early June. I'm confident they will be strong but the US are interested in ErosNow and the HBO jv. Any news on subscriber numbers picking up on these two could transform this stock. ErosNow could soon start to command a valuation of several times that of the entire company. | czar
16/4/2014 23:12 | More new highs - and a great finish too.... | rivaldo
16/4/2014 14:29 | Main Tera Hero is a definitive hit, with 52.5 crore collected already - with more to come - plus pre-sales from TV, digital etc, against a budget of just 21 crore according to this: | rivaldo
09/4/2014 15:42 | Excellent new Buy tip for EROS from Seeking Alpha with a $22-$25 price target: The sections on digital revenues and the value of the content library are particularly worth reading, but here's the conclusion: "Conclusion A well positioned pure play on media & entertainment consumption in India. Initiatives to monetize its vast library are underway, which should add an additional layer of growth, while improving margins and earnings. The value of depreciated assets on the books, which is low, should provide a floor to the downside risk. Target of $22-25 is based on 15-20 times next year's earnings, which may improve with improving prospects." | rivaldo
01/4/2014 13:46 | Joe, the year end is 31st March, so I imagine with US reporting requirements they'll issue a trading statement reasonably soon. | rivaldo
01/4/2014 11:26 | Their upcoming events page needs an update i'm afraid, | smurfy2001
01/4/2014 11:22 | Had almost forgotten about this share since it moved to a US listing, I only have a small holding. Just checked in and it seems to be doing rather well! Am not used to following US listed companies, when is the next news due? | joe_satriani2
01/4/2014 07:32 | Also the rupee is now sub 60/$ right on the last day of the trading year when rupee earnings are translated to US$, perfect. | czar
01/4/2014 06:47 | Great stuff last night from EROS - up another 10% to new highs, and on decent volumes too. The run-up to the year end trading statement is going rather well. | rivaldo

28/3/2014 19:15 | The action packed film 'Dishkiyaoon' has hit theatres today. As a treat to its fans, the film has also been released online, on EROS NOW. The ultimate entertainment hub will be premiering the movie online for movie lovers across the globe, coinciding with its theatrical release. The film can be viewed on Eros Now hxxp://erosnow.com/# Through this initiative, Eros Now wishes to treat their loyal fans, who have been enthusiastically anticipating the film's release. Dishkiyaoon, an out-and-out action film, is about 'Vicky Kartoos', played by Harman Baweja, as he paves his way to reach new heights in the dangerous world of gangsters and crime. It involves many high octane action sequences and power packed dialogues. Haman Baweja and Ayesha Khanna share a sizzling on-screen chemistry. Sunny Deol , action hero supreme, is convincing as the Gun Totting Gangster 'Lakwa'. 26/3/2014 13:50 | riv - "I can see very, very substantial share price growth from here." I sincerely hope you're right. On paper the investment story suggests that you may well be but hopes have been raised + subsequently dashed on so many occasions in the past 4yrs or so that I'm afraid the scars have left me sceptical. Only time will tell. | speedsgh
26/3/2014 12:35 | No probs speedsgh - similar thoughts myself, though over a more recent timescale. However, the core business is doing well now. It looks like the year ending in 5 days' time will have been a very good one, and the forthcoming year also looks to have a very promising line-up - and should have a very good start in April given the releases. More than that, I can see the digital revenues starting to grow exponentially. If the US markets start to value the potential digital revenue streams given the partnerships with HBO, Sony etc, in relation to what is still a small company in their terms, I can see very, very substantial share price growth from here. | rivaldo |
