07/3/2014 14:00 | As I said in my post 6 above, imo the USA could re-rate EROS to a P/E of 19 or 20 given the normal rating in its sector. That would give 50% upside from here, i.e around $22. But if EROS is given a bigger premium rating due in particular to (1) its huge digital revenue potential and (2) its dominance in just about the world's fastest-growing film market, with further expansion happening in every other major overseas film market, then the sky is the limit. Of course we need EROS to perform to expectations and the Board to keep its nose clean. So far post-listing in the USA the news has been good on all fronts. | rivaldo
07/3/2014 12:53 | any targets here? | gucci

06/3/2014 11:12 | EROS is on a great run at present. The presentation at Deutsche Bank's Media, Internet & Telecom Conference on Monday should only encourage more buying imho, since there should really only be good news to report following the forecast-beating Q3 and decent Q4 results to date, plus a scintillating line-up for next year. Once the USA gets its teeth into EROS it wouldn't surprise me to see at least another 50% on the share price. The P/E for the year starting in just 26 days' time is only 13.3. In America this is absolutely peanuts, and from memory it's some 50% or more below the sector average over there. | rivaldo
05/3/2014 23:46 | Thankyou Smurfy for creating this thread. I approve of the EROS pictures. I doubt there is a takeover on the cards but this rise is quite dramatic. It's getting close to doubling from the intraday low of early Feb | jlo10
05/3/2014 23:36 | Well done smurfy. We seemed to have had a rerating. Hope it continues or is a takeover imminent? | yorkie52

05/3/2014 22:41 | Cheers smurfy, ta for that. Don't want to be picky, but are there any more charts you can include - intraday etc? The $14.92 close equates to around 300p in old money.... | rivaldo

03/3/2014 15:29 | Yep, in fact now well up again to $13.61 - equivalent to the old 272p, so not too bad at all now, but hopefully still a long way to go now the US market seems to be catching on. Some news items people may not have seen: EROS "rules" the UK box office: And a transcript of EROS' very positive conference call post Q3 results: This extract is worth noting imho: "Television syndication continued to contribute strongly to our performance in the quarter, as we struck deals with companies such as Sony and Viacom 18 for the television broadcasting rights to certain films. We also believe that the TATA Sky Carriage deal for the HBO premium channels I mentioned earlier will give momentum to the subscription take-up of those channels within India. Finally, during this quarter, we launched the Freemium initiative for Eros Now, our online service that shall give us full-length movies and music videos. We will monetize the traffic generated through brand and advertising sponsorships, while we offer a subscription offering to more discerning customers. To give you an indication of the potential, our Eros Now channel on YouTube, which only offers short-form content, has crossed over 1.7 billion video views and generates over 18 million video views each month. This is the traffic that we will be actively converting." | rivaldo
03/3/2014 15:21 | EROS currently swimming against the tide of the wider markets which is pretty impressive. Now above $13. | speedsgh |
