01/1/2021 08:22 | Pheonix36 (#3533): Alpha Growth (ALGW) potential 15x bagger for 2021. | tell sid
31/12/2020 22:07 | AIM = capital growth or capital erosion, pretty much binary with a lot of AIM stocks. You need to have balls or a strategy to de-risk IMO. FTSE = pick big companies, companies that will always be comfortable in your portfolio. Buy into weakness. Look at historical charts (5 year, then 1 year). Look at yield, look at peers, is is cheap in comparison. | neilyb675
31/12/2020 21:55 | Thank you both. I have a few blue chip ones. But as you said I know it’s not about full advise, but more of a sound board. EQT look like it has a lot of good things going. And I’m hoping to be in it for long term. | phoenix36
31/12/2020 21:46 | Well said 17902. @pheonix with the risk of sounding like a compliance officer (damn I said the 'c-word) this forum is not about giving investment advice, this is not the channel for that service. But I agree with 17902, for me the appeal of Eqtec is a long term investment because the stars are aligned in terms of the demand and market dynamics. However, there's a hell of a lot of work to do and its not without execution risks. But at the same time it's also a reality that this stock will attract short term investors and that's totally normal and I don't dig those people out, that's a normal market. What you've got to do is understand you're putting that 1000 at risk and be prepared to take the volatility. If you can do that and it suits your overall risk profile (ie you're not going to go hungry by losing that 1000) then think deeper. But this isn't the place for answers about your own investment advice. We just love talking about stocks here, there's a difference between that and investment advice for an individual. | fiduciarylove

31/12/2020 20:17 | Thanks 17902, oh I am aware I’m Not about short term week by week. Been with PHE since 2017 and EQT since 2018 and both been really good. Just unsure where to put my next payment in to. | phoenix36
31/12/2020 19:44 | Phoenix you really must realise that investment is long term (more than 1 week....) If the money is your own look after it. Don't rely on bulletin board posters who may have agendas. If you understand a sector then cautiously invest. Timing is everything if you're in a hurry. Knowledge and patience should reward you in eqt over the next year. I have a small amount of both companies mentioned and happy to hold through the future guaranteed volatility. | 17902
31/12/2020 18:34 | Would love some help here people. I have £1000 to invest. And I’m stuck as to where best to put the money, Iv done research and wanted to seek some advise from some of you. PHE or EQT or any other company. I never had the money before payday and not sure if now is a good time to still invest. | phoenix36
