28/5/2008 11:38 | The lack of news flow at the moment is probably due to the new guys "statigic review". After that is finished news will start to flow again, hopefully positive. One good film deal could put ERT on the up. | petepostman
28/5/2008 11:26 | Whilst I do not wish to offer false hope to myself or others, I believe there could be something on the horizon to offer comfort. In the annual report Jane Smith's overview is interesting! She writes the following. "ER has a number of agreements in negotiation with major US studios to option its properties and characters for worldwide theatrical film production and distribution. The benefits to a brand from the release of a major theatrical film are significant and ER expects to benefit from these agreements in the medium-term." A number of agreements! Significant brand benefits! ER expects to benefit from these agreements in the medium-term! Sounds like Lone Ranger for Disney 2010 summer blockbuster as doing the rounds earlier in the year, in which case based upon previous years the latest Disney can delay an agreement to is about the end of the year, or february 2009 absolute latest. Interesting to know what else may interest the major film studios. I have checked previous interim and annual reports and there has not been any reference to film negotiations before, that I can find, so it seems significant, and probably why it is in her overview and not down in the detailed sections. Also on the positive side, the significant increase in shareholding by Hemmings and SVG over the last few months and their insistence that anything less than 20p undervalued the company, adds some further comfort that the future is brighter than it currently looks. However as a insignificant pi it is difficult not to feel a little despondent with the current share price and lack of newsflow. Kind regards | 53tom
28/5/2008 10:25 | Agree with wodahsnoom. Only hope that AGM brings something as hotips stated. | petepostman

27/5/2008 21:28 | svendid : no idea what you mean. Yes this share is a dog and i have been duped like alot of investors but given the volumes of late, how you could imply some sort of devious stakebuilding is beyond me. As far as I a m concerned, it's a long road to confidence building - i've seen nothing so far to inspire that confidence. | wodahsnoom
27/5/2008 10:37 | I think by now most regulars here will be ready to accept that the present management have taken control in opposition to the wishes of those who accumulated a substantial interest at the expense of shareholders like us!!! It is our money invested in the Heap days, that is subsidising the acquisition of at least 20% of the company. So, whether you like it or not, had a bid come, the price could have been upwards of 20p....but now that the present management have assumed that they are fighting on behalf of our interests, the weight of the money ready and willing in the hands of the opposition is being used to frustrate the price downwards.....thus allowing them to acquire more and more shares at a knockdown price, and at our expense. With either management, I believe the long standing shareholders are not in good shape....and saying that.... some may sell....which is the last thing I want to see. There is IMO no way back....the thing will get carved up between them and we will get nothing!!! How aften have I ignored my own advice.... Don't pick up shares,on the cheap, in companies like ERT and expect that you will get your money back..... never mind make a profit!!! Caveat Emptor!!!!! | svendid
22/5/2008 18:50 | And to update the Altium share tip, along with all the others, Ert went down again to 8p today..! I think, and hope, that Ert will rise in the future, but probably not until next year when the recent debacle starts to fade in the memory. I would be happy if they made it to anywhere near 17p. I have just become very very cynical about these tips. Just where do they get them from? Perhaps a analyst from Altium can post a message here to explain..! | petepostman
22/5/2008 14:35 | They are pretty accurate with their BUY price!!!! | svendid

22/5/2008 13:50 | Not another Buy notice on ERT by Altium..? Is this the same Altium who zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz I think Altium may be biased, they are, after all, the in-house broker for ERT and from their previous attempts at tipping ERT, they would have difficulty predicting the weather in a rain forest. Ert's recent foray into the digital world has moved the share price down 12%. The only thing that will move it up is profits, big ones. | petepostman
21/5/2008 05:53 | HsHo - what price did Altium say to buy up to? | rochford6
20/5/2008 21:41 | Altium Capital have according to another website recommended ERT as a BUY , and given the recent trading and results etc. certainly looks a fair option in the current volatile markets. | hsho
19/5/2008 07:01 | Have they forgotten to put the content in this RNS? Hope future management updates have a bit more/some substance! I am hoping to go to the AGM this year, see what Nick Phillips is like, anyone else likely to go? | 53tom

08/5/2008 15:18 | But the company is still obliged to anounce "material contracts" through the Exchange. | hotips
08/5/2008 10:34 | looks like the we need to keep an eye on the wesite for updates, | rochford6
07/5/2008 19:11 | The share price will react to good news or bad news. Until then it may tot up a small amount. I would have thought 11p - 12p is a fair price at the moment. Hopefully good news will see an increase soon. Nobody trusts this lot anymore so they need to prove themselves I think before the share price moves. I personally think they are making all the right noises. Fingers crossed, and good luck to all who hold. JW | joey wilson
07/5/2008 18:47 | Yes, but why doesn't the share price go up..!?? | petepostman
07/5/2008 18:04 | It's early days but I would agree that there seems to be a new momentum gathering. The interesting thing is that at least three suitors talked to ERT and the fact that they did not make a bid means they can come back at any time. An unsuccessful bid would preclude them from making another within 12 months. That does tend to concentrate the mind with the share price at these levels and you've just been granted generous options! | wodahsnoom
07/5/2008 08:48 | Like someone said in an earlier post. The pressure is on and a culture of selling seems to be the way forward, rather than buying. Seems very good news to me. JW | joey wilson
07/5/2008 07:18 | Hotips several online trade sites had the same story, all were dated the 6th May. it would be nice for the company to issue news like this to shareholders at the same time | rochford6
07/5/2008 07:16 | I'm wondering when this news came out, and why it was not announced by the company? Strong evidence of the company working its vast catalogue of rights. Good news. | hotips |
