21/8/2024 17:00 | Look how many they have been given in lieu of salary. Doubt they need more nor want to see much dilution. | p1nkfish
21/8/2024 16:23 | Sufficient resources if they get cash coming in before it runs out. At this valuation and if I was a director I would be scooping up shares if positive on the chances. | valuehurts
21/8/2024 09:51 | Reads like they have sufficient resources available. | p1nkfish
21/8/2024 09:06 | All that we need now is some insiders buying, otherwise the market sees a raise and dilution as a high probability. | valuehurts
21/8/2024 07:05 | Thanks Somerset Lad, I misread the release in 2 key aspects: 1. I didn't notice the results themselves continued after the first part of the release - so I hadn't seen the much greater detail and in particular the going concern statement. 2. Most importantly I read the statement on cash resources as talking about having enough cash until September 2024, not September 2025. September 2025 is much better! "Cash flow forecasts prepared up to 30 September 2025, show sufficient cash resources to enable the funding of working capital, completing the testing of the SABER tool fleet and the completion of the build of the initial set of SABER tools in the fleet to enable the generation of revenue from this new technology. " I feel much better now. | 1gw
21/8/2024 06:48 | Results out well before deadline. Clean going concern. No impairments. Cash generation forecast from Q3. Looks from the impairment testing note like more focus on third party distributors paying a royalty expected to be 7.5% (less emphasis on NTQ itself supplying at $5k daily rate). | somerset lad
21/8/2024 06:23 | "Post year end currently in customer field testing in an operational environment." and "As such, we have been making progress towards securing customer agreements to cover the key regions around the world." Not as definitive as I would have hoped on either count, but they've not given up yet it would seem. Not much cash left now though. | 1gw
15/8/2024 08:39 | Small, lacking bandwidth. | p1nkfish
15/8/2024 08:08 | The management of the news flow over the last 18 months has been particularly poor. Just letting the shareholders know when the March 2024 results will be announced would be a start! | optimist4now
12/8/2024 07:35 | Even 3%-5% of USA heating is massive business, directionality can help reduce the pad sizes needed and surface area near urban areas as well as help rejuvenate old wells and help with hazard avoidance. Should the worse happen here SABER has substantial value in the hands of the right group. "A nationwide study by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) estimated that geothermal direct-use applications, including district heating, could technically meet around 20-30% of the U.S. residential and commercial heating demand if fully developed. This estimate assumes optimal conditions, including widespread adoption and infrastructure investment." "The overall contribution (currently) of geothermal energy to heating in the U.S. is quite small, likely less than 0.5% of the total heating demand when considering all forms of geothermal heating (both direct-use and geothermal heat pumps). This small percentage reflects the early stage of geothermal heating adoption in the U.S., despite its significant potential in certain regions." I believe 5% is a realistic potential, massive. Cost of SABER would be noise over the lifetime of the asset. "The typical lifetime of a geothermal well is about 20 to 30 years, but with proper management, some wells can last up to 50 years or more. The longevity depends on factors like reservoir management, well integrity, and the quality of the geothermal resource. Proper reinjection practices, maintenance, and technological advances can all help to maximize the life of a geothermal well." | p1nkfish
12/8/2024 07:19 | Directional drilling is useful in geothermal projects for optimizing well placement, improving productivity, and managing risks - avoiding hazards. Not just limited to special cases but can enhance the efficiency and viability of many geothermal projects. District heating geothermal is entering early stages of growth but on further investigating SABER it looks like a sweet spot especially as the kit is so easily transported. I was sceptical of usage in geothermal but am coming round to it now after some "digging", pardon the pun. | p1nkfish
12/8/2024 06:55 | Time we had some news. I'm looking on the brightside that silence will lead to sudden announcements of something positive on the customer capture front. District heating market from US Geothermal is an open target to address if they can handle the temperatures. | p1nkfish
09/8/2024 08:07 | Must be (at least) 100 days since they started the multi-well test, seeing as how they said they started in April. Surely can't be long until they feel able to report some news, can it? Silence feels ominous, but it is at least possible they're negotiating some transformative deal and want to get that finalised before updating the market. I guess given the relative lack of share trading, most long-term holders are crossing their fingers and hoping there is more to come than announcement of a distress sale of the technology, or worse. | 1gw
09/8/2024 06:17 | They dilute us, take private etc. But I would wait till we get some financials, they are usually very good with keeping costs down. | valuehurts
09/8/2024 06:15 | There are probably a lot of issues that they work through that they don't tell us about. Resolving them then giving us the positive news. We are very light on news flow and and further deals so it does seem that they are working on something required before it can be commercialised. | valuehurts
31/7/2024 12:50 | The most likely scenario here in my opinion is that the technology is good but NTQ runs out of cash. Are there ways for dealing with this? | mjneish
25/7/2024 08:22 | Are the recent re-hashes of old posts on NTQ's LinkedIn page a sign that the "multi-well" testing announced earlier this year is not going to plan? | optimist4now
06/7/2024 19:04 | A gamble. Tech looks good. Lots of lateral & directionsl opps to address. | p1nkfish
06/7/2024 18:05 | MC £5.3 MILLION Cash of $3 million 10th April (Cavendish note - not sure of cash burn though) If any value purchase would only amount to a rounding error for many potential purchasers. Thoughts - Take over target or going bust as technology of little value? | pugugly
06/7/2024 07:26 | He was only there long enough to realize that he needed to change job! We desperately need an update from Law as to where SABER stands vis-a-vis full, cash generative, commercialisation. | optimist4now
05/7/2024 10:30 | Mark Ritchie now CFO of Glacier Energy Solutions. Looks to be successful private business. It looks like he probably had the job lined up. | valuehurts
05/7/2024 08:55 | There is zero impact on the share price whenever Law attends one of these investor events. Maybe he should spend more time informing the current shareholders on whether SABER is going to be fully commercialised before the cash runs out! I also note there has still been no news on when the March 24 results will be announced. This was a glaring omission from the 10 April Trading Update. | optimist4now
02/7/2024 23:21 | It is almost as if they want to keep the share price depressed so they can pick up a lot of the company on the cheap. | valuehurts
01/7/2024 07:42 | Interesting overall for Energy demand but last 15 mins probably of most interest. Tend to agree there could be an NG squeeze in 2025 as some waiting for higher prices and demand is set to increase still further. Mentions lateral towards the end. | p1nkfish |
