There's a trade here at some point but you need to factor in the £3bn debt when quoting MCap

I wonder if an opportunistic bidder will surface? I think most investors would take the cash and run if a bid of £7.00 was put on the table, as who knows where this will go if the current lot stay in charge!

Checking back on Director share deals. In November and December 2023 Gibson bought 118,196 shares, spending £1.088 million, an average price of £9.20 per share. Not a good investment!

It seems to me Entain will be selling off as much as £1bln in assets in order to pay down debt, this would bring their debt down to circa 2 times.

Leverage rose to 3.3 times in 2023, with net debt at £3.29bn, shows debt is way to high and urgently needs to be reduced by a good 40%.

You can tell the top 2 have never worked on the coalface for a bookmaker in their 100 year combined career.Paddy have highlighted a 350m hit from a hugely punter friendly September. The worst month for 5 years. This can happen with bookies and then not again for a long time Not a word re this in the statement & how it should be treated as exceptional & therefore making the Q and year look better performing on a long term overall view
