09/11/2004 09:08 | Needs some news! | cowls
08/11/2004 22:26 | Doesn't bode well... when it goes down it's usually because some on the inside have got the news first and dumped their stock! I think the news will be bad (just a feeling)... | andersonian
08/11/2004 17:58 | Down more than up... as ever! | wty433
08/11/2004 16:16 | This share is like a yo-yo,up 20% down 40%,something strange going on here me thinks. | johnyee7
06/11/2004 12:17 | Another week of no news? | andersonian
03/11/2004 11:25 | In retrospect I often have this feeling myself. Especially with some of the recommendations I've been given. | wty433
03/11/2004 08:26 | Is it still true that some brokers buy big chunks of stock and then offload them onto punters as reccommendations. Or was that back in the Thatcher era and its now illegal because its a conflict of interest ? I used to get constant phone calls from companies who had stock and were also making reccommendations and issuing so-called 'research notes'. Only ever bought one: PEX. Went bust. | yump
02/11/2004 13:08 | No, but can't say I'm surprised. These rumours never seem to come to much | wty433
01/11/2004 20:49 | I thought someone said there was going to be some news last week? Anyone got any news on the news... (as it were!) | andersonian
01/11/2004 13:42 | ian...been there with ENT, CLV, EKA,..in fact the only one that has doen any good via HB was a tip from the broker himself and not an official HB tip.........the actual guys that are on the phone selling are just the mouth organ for the researcher...in most cases R Lockyer..... | chapchip
01/11/2004 13:33 | WTY433, I was also sold Harrogate. Told it was a winner. They must have spent hours on the phone going through everything with me. Guess what???? As soon as I bought the stock it lost 95% of its value. I would have been better using a pin in the FT!!!!! | ianmurray
01/11/2004 11:46 | Chipchap THe broker was Patrick Taylor Ian - I have had a series of recommendations...li Bio progress Creative Education St Modwen Tecnition Vianet Web shareshop holdings Meridian Envesta Most have done poor to say the least. Have a look at the graphs. Typically the one I decided to go with has done worst. I have to admire their tenacity as they still have the gall to keep trying. It must be hard to keep up the confidence and genuinely sound upbeat when 7 out of 9 are in negative teritory. My child could have picked better stocks. I think you could be right in your comments regarding time to recover but at this level you never know. Oh look, the price is rallying again up 0.00000001. Will probably drop back before the day is out. | wty433
01/11/2004 11:17 | WTY433, I got the same result from ENT through the same broker. They harrassed me and said that if I didn't buy I would be a fool. I am in at 14.5p and was told that if it didn't double within 12 months they would be surprised. It has never gained even 0.01p since I bought them and they have dived. I will not be using this broker again. I think they try and dump stocks they own on "Low buying" clients like us. I may be proved wrong on this stock but it will take a long long time I suspenct. | ianmurray
01/11/2004 10:30 | wty...who was your broker there ??? a tick up...the start of a recovery of a false dawn ??? | chapchip
29/10/2004 17:42 | I've just been reading some of the previous comments. Interesting to note many others have been exposed, like me, to Hoodless Brennans drivel. They mithered me for months claiming the usual suscess stories. As I have lost money on these "Expert" style tipsters before I held fire for a while. Eventually in a moment of weakness I agreed to buy the next best share tip stating that if it did well I would put more business with them in the future. This was their tip ... their creme de la cremme... dead cert.16.5p They advised me to average down at 10p... then 7p... then 3p... Fortunately I did not take any of this rubbish advise They have given me 9 more tips in the mean time. I refused each one but have watched them closely. BPRG - Recommended by everyone did very well The other 8 bommed. I set up a mock portfolio of £1000 into each one I would currently be loosing about £3000 (30%) if ?I had taken their advise. Without BPRG in there most would be loosing. ENT loosing spectacularly (IN their expert opinion, the best one) Needless to say I will not be dealing with them again. Perhaps someone else will learn from my mistakes.... At least I feel better having had this little rant CHIPCHAP and many others - Your not alone! I'm not for discussing brokers as I understand that this link is for a particular share, not to slag off brokers but it is interesting to note others comments. I wish I would have read them earlier. 29/10/2004 10:11 | boatman, Lets hope he's right! This week is running out and the price isn't exactly racing. Every little rally seems always to be followed by a correction back again. I don't take them too seriously any more. WTY | wty433
28/10/2004 19:16 | WTY433-not well connected,I am in @ 12.5p, impatient for news and have a broker with Ray Dutton's mobile number. | boatman928
28/10/2004 17:53 | boatman, you seem pretty well conected if you are speaking with Ray Dutton himself. Lets hope something positive is on the horison.... 'Bout time | wty433
28/10/2004 16:06 | I was advised by a broker to get in at 16.5p?? I need a 850%??? :-(((((((( | wty433
27/10/2004 08:56 | Let's hope so!!! Need a 300% rise just to break even :( | cowls
26/10/2004 23:21 | spoke to Ray Dutton today and he assured me that an anouncement would be made this week to the stock market that would have a positive effect on the share price but said he was not at liberty to say exactly what it was. | boatman928
18/10/2004 16:27 | wait for results all. On a company with such a small market cap these sales will be consistently cutting prices. Remember though that some lucky punters are still in profit from the Edelson shell Walnut (some as low as .5p if I remember correctly). This has good prospects IMO. | offbeat
05/10/2004 11:37 | Well guys, I am afraid to say whom ever is telling you to buy should review their advise. Good source to me states a more scarey picture as to their future. This is a dog!!! only fit for a shell vehicle. I shall be watching till then, as thats the only time we will see value! | equitydealer007
05/10/2004 08:37 | Christh, I agree no one would risk that sort of money, if they thought they could lose it. Contract news is what we need, as it appears that any buying or selling moves the share price very quickley. | 0222166 |
