UK being sold down the river and has been for years as I hav been saying.
Unfortunate;y you can see what has been done, the UK top managers have been ruined and removed.
Woodford and Odey to mention a couple.
That is why we have to get to the US before we are bought for around the last mgm bid.
I call for a egm now to grill the management on share price valuation and destruction.

Yes of we do not get US exposure very soon, we will get take over very soon, for certain. Dyor |
Maryland and Virginia igaming bills have been filed |
That’s because since one year, sp: Ent: 36% down Mgm: 25% down |
Interesting to see last 6 months which includes RNS Aussie Entain down -8% MGM down -31%.. MGM far from world digital dominance are collapsing inwards Macau an issue, digital penetration Worldwide an issue..the dollar strength and itchy shareholders ..Buckle up.. |
We were 720p only a few hours ago, now 626p. Just madness, about time the management did something positive for the investors after years of destruction by the last ceo. I want an egm to be called and NOW.

The weak pound makes UK based $ earners very attractive to prospective US buyers .Hopefully our forthcoming trading update will be positive (despite the threat of an Aussie fine )& assuming the update from Betmgm is also positive our share price shoukd start to look more attractive to US asset strippers /PE companies etc -hopefully putting us all out of our misery sometime later this year |
> Thinking seriously of moving more of my isa towards N America.
The annoying thing is that, unlike a SIPP, you can't hold dollars in an ISA account. That means currency fees every single time you buy or sell, making short term holds expensive. |
Yes we need to call a egm to see what the heck is going on. Then either sell the US stake and focus on Brazil and the row. Or leave the UK and get to the US NOW. This is a ridiculous valuation. |
No rabbits just more tax hikes |
Over the last couple of years ent and dge have been total dogs for me.Thank goodness I hold hsba. Thinking seriously of moving more of my isa towards N America. Most of my pension is already there and has done pretty well. Has Rachel got any rabbits - can't see it at the moment. Yes the new year has not started well. Suet |
time to dual list in NYenoughs enough |
10% off since 7th January |
S yes hopefully that is why they are destroying us to ensure we do not get over 800p. Just get to the US NOW. |
Thanks melmoo - perhaps I can persuade myself there will be a modicum of better news. Hard to atm with the Uk markets as they are. Suet |
The Flutter warning did not even affect their share price Break it up and sell its parts please Gavin…£4b?!
I am surprised that no rns was issued from the company to announce either their FY update or the betmgm update dates..unless I missed something. |
I'm not surprised the share price is dropping like a stone at the moment. The Australian problem and the Flutter profit warning means Entain is an obvious shorting opportunity. All we can do is hold and wait for some good news. At some point the shorters must reverse their positions at which point I expect the share price to recover quickly. There is also the possibility that the lower it goes the more attractive it becomes to a takeover bid, probably from the U.S. |
In a few years we will no doubt be blamed for someone’s bust nose and fined a billion pounds.
I still find it hard to believe the uk fine a uk company that is paying tax for something individuals have got off Scot free for. Meanwhile off shore companies continue to abide by no rules whatsoever. |

H1 ..Europe provided more NGR than UK.....Brazil,Canada and US will be larger than UK by end of 2026..The UK will then be ranked as third geographical area..UK is less and less relevant to Entain..Debt is relevant .Interest rate relevant..but this is UK company by registration and HQ location only.. |
And yes Rachel was wfh today - too busy packing her suitcase with freebie outfits for her jaunt to China. Suet - obviously not in the Rachel fan club. |
In 2028-29, Reeves expects to spend £100bn per year more than the Conservatives had planned.Debt markets are worried. Government borrowing costs have surged, with yields on 10-year bonds at their highest since the financial crisis, and rates on 30-year debt at levels not reached since the 1990s. |
If Rachel needs more dosh in due course (and she probably will) you could be right. Maybe that was her cunning plan all along - after all she has an impressive CV. Suet |
I reckon Reeves will be looking at this sector closely now. Always an easy target.. |
