From a more positive chart view, the 3 year has a real pivot point here - we are right on a decision point imo! |
Yes the thread seems to have gone off-piste somewhat. Not surprising with the drip over the last few days.
Chart wise it's got 39p written all over it at the moment. It would be easy to trade it but that's not what i'm here for - although appreciate i'd prefer this to get on with the reason I invested - to go to 3 figures and make a lot of cash!
Volume is still very low and i'm sticking with this as the reason for the drop - buyers sitting on their hands whilst news comes and a poor market this week for tech stocks in this sector. To put the volume in context, I expect many of us here have todays volume in their portfolio, it's very much loose change in the corporate scheme of things.
If I was running my slide rule over the company as an investment I would firmly stay on the sidelines myself, happy to miss out on the start of any breakout if that should come. As a holder at a higher level I guess I await and take the profits when eventually they come.
Have a great weekend all! |
I don't know what the fixation is with him anyway. He is irrelevant to the success or otherwise of Ensilica. |
I looked at Trackwise before investing here. The only connection I can make is that Hodgkins bought 10000 shares before he left.
On first glance, it appeared that the difference between here and there, was partly that ENSI are not building factories. That in itself looked to be a strategic error, given that outsourcing is pretty much the lower-risk way.
(I did also see that thread was started by someone who seems to have a track record of multiple shares that bomb out in a few years, which would have bankrupted me if I had bought all of them.) |
How did he destroy Trackwise?
Here are some facts - can you supply some in return?
Mark Hodgkins worked with Trackwise since 2016, was appointed director on 28 December 2017 and resigned on 22 August 2022 having announced his intention to leave in September 2021. Paul Cook, his replacement, had been CFO designate since January 2022.
In 2021 the Company secured a large order from an UK EV OEM on the back of which investment was made in new manufacturing facilities. From March 2023 onwards there were a number of announcements that this contract was being delayed and eventually cancelled in the month prior to administration.
Now over to you - please give me the facts as to how Mark Hodgkins "destroyed trackwise". |
Look at his track record |
Useless ?
The share price would be 90p otherwise. |
And what is wrong with the chairman? |
For me it is the chairman, replace him and this becomes investable. |
joeb12 - filtered. |
The problem is the market is so thin at the moment. We need volume. That will only come with news or this crossing someone's radar. |
Joeb they trickle fed the placements because they didn't have a LOC large enough to cover. They now do for all except the largest contracts. This time last year I was a little concerned, much less so now. Management have too much skin in the game, some fully paid, to dilute if at all possible. |
Yes Ged, a closed mind and all that eh? The mark of a moron (I'm presuming I'm one of the hidden posts there) |
Hi Yump, good to see some posts. There seem to be a lot of hidden posts on this thread. Some say the filter is closing your mind to other views. But when no view is offered it's time to filter. Don't usually post about other posters but there are a couple of perennial clowns posting here. 9 hidden posts this morning. |
;)I'm certainly not grumpy. Although it does grind my gears to see a "ooh not good" post of every tick! I'll leave nervous posters to it! |
Woops !
I’ve got rather a lot of hidden posts so I have no idea whats going on at times.
Having a grumpy day. |
Yump - I was talking to yoeb12! |
I mean, you could ask that question of any share! You also seem to have a bad opinion of placings - this isn't a lifestyle company where such placings would be used for director wages - it's a growth company with a very long line of revenues ahead, needing funds at times to get there. As the directors have intimated, they may raise for a big contract. You seem to have an impatient timeline here to make money on your investment. I'd say you are in the wrong company. |
