;)I'm certainly not grumpy. Although it does grind my gears to see a "ooh not good" post of every tick! I'll leave nervous posters to it! |
Woops !
I’ve got rather a lot of hidden posts so I have no idea whats going on at times.
Having a grumpy day. |
Yump - I was talking to yoeb12! |
I mean, you could ask that question of any share! You also seem to have a bad opinion of placings - this isn't a lifestyle company where such placings would be used for director wages - it's a growth company with a very long line of revenues ahead, needing funds at times to get there. As the directors have intimated, they may raise for a big contract. You seem to have an impatient timeline here to make money on your investment. I'd say you are in the wrong company. |
I should say that my post that its about time for some excitement, was a sell signal. Thats based on some “previous̶1; ;-) |
Can you deny that a placing is about to take place ?? |
Maybe I am but I am very worried with the lack of contract news recently!
Ensilica need to pull their finger out!! |
Well if that's what you deduce from the previous posts then you really are in the wrong game. |
Very worrying definitely. |
With the deep seek revelations this week, it would be foolish to think other (un)related shares wouldn't have a little impact. In a very thinly traded market the price can swing for no reason. Volumes are razor thin at the moment. A lack of buyers (maybe for reasons given) is what is causing a drip drip here.Annoying, yes. Worrying, not so much. |
I think Ducatiman is correct about thw reasons for ENSI being held back. Post 903
In the full year results they even stated:-
"Whilst the Board is confident of the short-term revenue pipeline, additional external financing may be required should the Company experience further delays in contracted customer receipts"
But this has been qualified elsewhere in the report and in interviews towards the end of last year and even in the statement. They were not dismissing a fund raise if a big enough order came along. But wouldn't that be a good thing?
"We continue to target closing two to three new customer design and supply contracts each year which will continue to feed the supply revenues of the Group in future years."
Like most investors I tend to want the most favourable outcome. Subconsciously I too must have concentrated on three contracts. They closed two contracts which is indeed what they said. Maybe the third will appear soon.
Perhaps the share price weakness is just sentiment and that can quickly change. |
Worrying trend with the SP!
Hope this doesn’t go the way 2024 went!! |
The future does look good and my head has been in the future many times with stocks, but not in the present, to my cost, when it turns out I will have to have a long term view, whether I like it or not.
It is of note that the non-exec is a finance guy through and through and not just a chartered accountant. I think that has some relevance and its reasonable to have an opinion about it either way. |
OK. Maybe time to revisit the AGM statement - only 2 months ago.
"Our sales pipeline is now projected to be worth an estimated US$450 million of lifetime revenues, in addition to estimated recurring supply revenues from design contracts already closed of US$224 million over the customer forecast lifetime of the supply. Together, these forecasts underpin management's confidence in the Group's near-to-medium term prospects."
"As evidenced by the volume of contract wins secured in HY 2025, we are attracting strong interest for our services from a wide range of domestic and international corporations." |
Everyone’s on edge because of previous placings.
I’m really disappointed there hasn’t been any new contract news this month. With the half year results looming I can see the predicament.
Meanwhile the larger capped stocks are all doing well! |
It does seem odd - anyone buying here has to be taking a long term view surely? The company have said and analysts also that money flows improve in the future, that's where people's heads need to be. |
To be fair I think ducatiman comes from the same shared bitter experience I have of being cynical of CV’s. I won’t go into the details, but financial services and capital markets is enough to put the wind up me slightly as well! |
Pity — based on your frequent posts recently, I was going to suggest that you would be better off selling your stake, if only for your own peace of mind. |
Unable to sell more than 1100 shares currently.
Not great. |
2 things holding this back. 3 deals signalled before Xmas, 2 announced. Fear of a placing especially when a new director is introduced with the following credentials 'Stephen has extensive experience having held a number of senior roles across financial services, capital markets and the technology sector'. If these two issues are addressed progress will be made. All imho of course. |
There's no "big sells", just some low level churn. |
A bit worrying to see some big sells without any decent buys currently. |
Actually on reflection I have no idea what you meant by “who cares”, so I’m getting rid of my subsequent posts as its o/t and I just made a passing comment |
