Got to say I am disappointed at the market reaction too for a PE of somewhere between 1.5 and 2. Might only have to wait 6 months for full results to make the market to notice.

The results are very good. The share price is down this morning due to weakness in Brent.

Brilliant set of results, regularly adding sub 30p. Just do not understand MCap valuation on ENQ, surely we are dye a re-rate? Already looking forward to the next set of results and at some time in the interim, the penny will drop and I'll wake up to a 30p rise in a single day.

If government put the producers in trouble, they'll create a bigger problem, let the dust settle and ENQ keep delivering the goods all will be rosy in 24m from now and 29p will seem cheap as chips

Whats annoying is we are still paying debt off !!Hbr are debt free !!We are a year behind them which is annoying cause we are paying these windfall taxes before getting out of trouble !! That said in a years time we should come good !!

Not true. It will not affect the producers. The idea is to freeze the amount the energy companies sell to the public. The gov will guarantee and cover the cost of buying for the energy companies so they can continue to purchase the energy from the producers.

To be honest, I don't really understand why this is falling today.

Like Truss is rumoured to be announcing a freeze on energy costs for UK. You Don't need to be a genius to work out that UK fossil fuel producer's are likely to suffer. That's the reason for falls , not results imo.

Let's hope we get a reward at some point. I now wish I'd sold out last night and bought back this morning.

It does look like that... there's clearly something about ENQ that the market doesn't like.

All was telegraphed in the comprehensive update a few weeks ago. Main takeaway is that they will be debt free within a year if prices stay around these levels. At what point will this rerate? If they start distributing huge amounts of cash to shareholders? I would suggest it's a terrible time to try and buy assets as it's clearly a sellers market, but they probably need to spend a bit to expand or maintain production in coming years.
