Most oilers has PE ranging between 10-15 such as BP / SQZ

ENQ PE = 2.

April was another whole month of oil over $100/barrel and it continues. The forecast is that oil will be averaging at this level going into 2024, the future looks increasingly good for producers like Enquest.

"We have also started 2022 well, with production to the end of February averaging 50,408 Boepd, towards the top end of our full year guidance range. We have also continued to reduce our net debt, down to $1,090.0 million at the end of February, in line with our strategic priorities. With a supportive oil price environment and an active programme of nine wells and seven workovers in 2022, our largest sanctioned programme since 2014 and our first new wells in over two years, we remain confident on delivering a good performance this year


Next 2 weeks we will get operational update. I am sure the debt will be below $1 billion.



ENQ has 3.5 million barrels hedging at £74/barrel, The rest of 15 million barrels are sold at market price. That equates to almost $1 billion dollars profit in next 12 months excluding profit from hedging. Operating cost was $20.5/boe. Current oil price over $100/barrel. Even the operating cost increased up to $25/boe, ENQ still make operating profit of circa $75/barrel :)


Very undervalued. I think we will get a dividend payment by next year.

AbsolutelyJust need patience. Most are still very under weight in oil; and will have to buy the longer these oil prices hold.... Recent Results don't show benefit of elevated oil prices

There seems to be an awful lot of small sales going through at the moment. Does anyone have a view as to why this might be the case, please? The price of oil is hardly tanking.

Enquest is as rock solid as an Oil company could be and better still it's all in UK waters.

wow - just 79MM bonds exchanged, and 111MM being left until maturity in October.. I guess these are held by larger holders who want their capital back..!!!

Absolutely, simple bet on oil prices over next few months and years. I think there's a good chance they stay high, would you invest in something you know the planet doesn't want long term? Production levels and demand are the key factors, not rocket stuff!

Could please someone explain me why this stock (looks) so extremely cheap? Am I missing something, as I unfortunately only watch it for several months. Even now it looks extremely cheap at P/CF of only 1.64 and P/E of only 2.3 ? Is there any large potential dillution ahead, any large outstanding legal battle, some murkiness around anything important...?
