15/9/2015 07:29 | Morning Available at 57p this morning after some chunky looking sells seem to have hit the market. Clearly one for the brave only, but anyone tempted by a near 17% yield to maturity? | cwa1
03/9/2015 15:00 | Current daily yield is 8.5% on a daily basis at present price with a whopping 15.5% (assuming no haircuts), these are looking rather interesting. No reason to imagine debt if needed to be restructured could not be done avoiding haircuts nearer 2022. Whats more with the Arabs starting to make some sensible noises about stabilising oil supply rather than pumping record amounts into an over supplied market, there really is cause to think the longer term floor is in. | my retirement fund
21/8/2015 11:09 | Thanks MRF - no doubt Idealing will pay at some point then | spittingbarrel

21/8/2015 10:47 | Anyone got their interest due 15 Aug yet? | spittingbarrel
04/8/2015 16:00 | I'm fairly sure Enquest can keep paying the interest, certainly for as long as the hedges last. It is the return of the capital, even if that is through new debt issuance that will be in doubt if seaborn stays around $50. What the price of the bonds tells anyone who cares to take their head out of somewhere dark and unpleasant is that the shares are hugely overvalued at the moment. | hpcg
04/8/2015 13:14 | Who knows with this oil price how long they can keep paying the interest? Roll on results on the 19th | wyken
04/8/2015 11:24 | Well these have taken a pounding today, meanwhile the equity is up on the day. | spittingbarrel
03/6/2015 18:34 | What I meant is why were you asking. Holders of the bonds like me mostly hold because we prefer to limit our exposer to higher risks. The ord carry high risk. Personally speaking if I wanted to carry high risk then I would have the ord stock. Good luck with your holding, i'm sure you will do well in the long run its a well managed outfit that appears to be run in a very professional manner. I suspect in hindsight its a little over exposed but then the management never really expected such a fast and savage market correction when they were planning the future a few years ago. | my retirement fund
03/6/2015 17:30 | Why not my retirement f. it seems a solid co and if you want exposure to oil equites And don't forget the producers coming on line very soon | romantic rambo

01/5/2015 08:28 | Spangle - off topic, but HL backed down last year on such charges after many vociferous complaints. | skinny
30/4/2015 13:57 | Tony Hayward, Ex-BP CEO says oil prices will rocket. | my retirement fund
30/4/2015 13:51 | briggs1209 - yes my opinion on the 7% issue trading at 50% is that it signals that people concerned about getting their principal back don't think 7p per year for 7 years is worth it. Given that is 49p then that says to me that they think Enquest can pay its costs and interest but not much more than that. If these are medium term oil prices, which I think they approximately are then I suspect the bond price is correct. | hpcg
30/4/2015 11:30 | Ok thanks both, that helps a lot. | my retirement fund

29/4/2015 16:59 | They still seem reasonably priced. The only odd thing is that the US denominated 7% bond is priced at 50p giving a 13% ytm. Obviously that bond comes in batches of 200000 but the difference in price worries me - and caused me to sell my GBP bonds when they were rising after the fall hxxp://www.hl.co.uk/ Any thoughts on the US bond would be welcomed - and good to see some nice discussion here | briggs1209
29/4/2015 12:54 | my retirement fund - try using the following... to be honest from my experience every online calculator seems to give a slightly different answer when inputting the same info on each one so the results for GRY/YTM from any online calculator should probably be used as a guideline only. | speedsgh |
