saw the website last night ,cheers anyway, what I thought weird & it's amazing how ones mind works when it comes to shares & BBoards,but Arai is a short anagram of the president,food services group (Europe & ROW).

With respect to the 1000,000 deals who knows I've tried to give up wondering about such things.Having said that I'd still like to know if there is an M sell surely there must be an equivalent M buy & vice versa?The sooner we get info parity the better.

Paul,

ENO, not a lot really. US operations looked into, new company focus, possible recovery play but more interested in a bid. Stop/loss in place for this one just to be safe. Don't really like loosing money, FTSE Index betting is more my scene at the moment.

- for others to look at and also tipped in Shares Mag. today. There's hope yet. Also nice to have a share that gets a divident if you hold that long !

How much do u know about ENO?
Not just recent news but co. history ,exec's etc .

at last I was worried it meant something derisory.
It's been a tad lonely on this thread having been used to wiggins ,mmd ,nis etc I just can't believe the lack of opinion given recent events & the trades today.
The source was a 'bloke in a pub' well a friend of mine who happened to be in a pub with me, & he did convince me with the people he'd talked to who were the source of his info.
Put it this way I was convinced enough to buy 5000 this am after researching the co. yesterday.

Have just bought on a rumour that a takeover will occur at @ 185 by end of Sept
I had no interest or knowledge about the co. until 2 days ago. Fundamentally it looks solid but I'm in for the bid despite what the co said last week.With so many suitors surely one will up their opening offer after all it's common sense to start the bidding low & that is discounting what I was told this weekend.
Here's hoping the info was correct & my 'analysis' of the situation is too.

The other word is that the price has come down as the bidder is trying to reduce exert some price pressure prior to the offer going in. The deal is still on? Big fella do you copy?

Does anyone know whats going on here? I hear that an offer was being prepared by an investment bank @ £1.75 - if this is true -why is the price falling - a big sale went through tody @100k no price change!!!!

vishnu, the company has announced it is in talks with "parties" who are interested in the company ,nice rise yesterday as there were two large buys totalling 3,740,000 at 140p a share so i would say there could be more of a rise on the cards.

on the fundamentals eno has a dividend yield of 10.78% @127.50 ,where did you get the ex divi dates from?we will we see a steady rise up to the date then?

found this on the rns news ,does anyone have any brokers forecasts looking back at the old news articles it looks like brokers have turned from negative to positive on these in the last few months.So have bought in @128p expecting a steady rise up to the ex div date.

Also bear in mind that most companies drop in price on the ex-div day by roughly the dividend amount. So your cash 'gain' via the dividend will probably be wiped out in the very short term by capital depreciation (this is not an Enodis specific situation).
