10/1/2002 09:18 | Anyone seen the news about the FT.com (also in the main FT) story today? I know the Italians are indiscreet, but short of taking out out an advert, this is about as blatant as you can get regarding a takeover - for cash, even better. Happy holding everything I bought a couple of weeks ago. | monty burns

08/1/2002 19:48 | PP - (do you have a lisp?) - nav given as 301p - but not sure it's very relevant here surely an unsolicited offer can/should be a serious one but yes a few of them would help and etp must be attractive around this price but come on...don't dither..are you closing... was it only £10 a point...give us a hint...go on... only 13 hours to decide or are you greedy like the rest of us 'HAPPY NEW YEAR'.......OH YES IT IS! | gurp
08/1/2002 19:03 | If an unsolictated offer causes this much interest imagine what one or two serious offers will do, this should cause those sitting on the side line to get their fingers out hope to see the price rise a lot higher than this, it's only getting back it's recent losses, anyone an idea of nav please | pparkin405
08/1/2002 18:58 | Take a look at premier oil obviously a lot of people think they could be the next target the way the trades went today, premier has it's own history and we've been waiting a long time for it to happen has great upside potential with fantastic gas and oil reserves, their chief executive puts a fair price of 35-40p thats just their curent value not including any takeover premium.Premier is covered on financial spreads with final results before june, their june bet at about 19p, with downside very limited in my honest opinion, well worth a bet, has been a lot of activity in the share recently with several cross trades, loads of possibilities has been a dog for ages but I think something has to happen and soon. DYOR IMHO | pparkin405
08/1/2002 18:41 | Well - what do we do in the morning - hang on? | iori |
