In his 1970 book Between Two Ages: America's Role in the Technetronic Era, Zbigniew Brzezinski, the former National Security Advisor and regular bilderberg attendee wrote the following:

"The technetronic era involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values. Soon it will be possible to assert almost continuous surveillance over every citizen and maintain up-to-date complete files containing even the most personal information about the citizen. These files will be subject to instantaneous retrieval by the authorities."

Dr. Henry Kissinger, wrote: "Depopulation should be the highest priority of U.S. foreign policy towards the Third World."

"If I were reincarnated I would wish to be returned to earth as a killer virus to lower human population levels" (Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh, leader of the World Wildlife Fund, quoted in "Are You Ready for Our New Age Future?" Insiders Report, American Policy Center, December 1995).

Orwelll's Warning

Was George Orwell more than simply an author? Could he envisage what was coming down the road for humanity? In this presentation parallels are drawn to arguably the finest piece of fiction ever written, 1984, showing that Orwell had a deep understanding of human corruption.

Air Force Colonel and key Pentagon official Karen Kwiatkowski – who blew the whistle on the Bush administration's efforts to concoct false intelligence about Iraqi weapons of mass destruction – wrote about the lack of investigative journalism into 9/11(page 26):

I have been told by reporters that they will not report their own insights or contrary evaluations of the official 9/11 story, because to question the government story about 9/11 is to question the very foundations of our entire modern belief system regarding our government, our country, and our way of life.

To be charged with questioning these foundations is far more serious than being labeled a disgruntled conspiracy nut or anti-government traitor, or even being sidelined or marginalized within an academic, government service, or literary career. To question the official 9/11 story is simply and fundamentally revolutionary. In this way, of course, questioning the official story is also simply and fundamentally American.

The printed bible became widely available with the invention of the printing press in the 1400's.For 1500 years the Catholic Church had kept the true scriptures of the bible hidden from the masses. This led to the reformation and enlightenment and the rise of protestantism (i.e.protest...)

Pre Gutenberg Europe:

1) No books
2) Illiterarate population
3) Oral culture
4) Priests would announce news at church
5) Local priests would not usually own bible
6) Villagers would listen to a traveling reader
7) No schools, except for elites
8) Feudal society
9) Information controlled by church and aristocracy
10) Limiting access to information enabled
11) The church to maintain control over the masses.

Is the Internet a modern day Gutenberg Press?

David Rockefeller: "The negative impact of population growth on all of our planetary ecosystems is becoming appallingly evident."

CNN Founder Ted Turner: "A total population of 250-300 million people, a 95% decline from present levels, would be ideal."

Dave Foreman, Earth First Co-Founder: "My three main goals would be to reduce human population to about 100 million worldwide, destroy the industrial infrastructure and see wilderness, with it's full complement of species, returning throughout the world."

Maurice Strong: "Isn't the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn't it our responsibility to bring that about?"

Michael Oppenheimer: "The only hope for the world is to make sure there is not another United States. We can't let other countries have the same number of cars, the amount of industrialization, we have in the US. We have to stop these Third World countries right where they are."

Re-reading these quotes, it looks like these chaps are calling for a return of neo feudalism/serfdom!

Examples of eco fascism:

James Lovelock, the creator of the Gaia hypothesis on how humans will ever manage to tackle climate change:

"We need a more authoritative world. We've become a sort of cheeky, egalitarian world where everyone can have their say. It's all very well, but there are certain circumstances – a war is a typical example – where you can't do that. You've got to have a few people with authority who you trust who are running it. And they should be very accountable too, of course.

But it can't happen in a modern democracy. This is one of the problems. What's the alternative to democracy? There isn't one. But even the best democracies agree that when a major war approaches, democracy must be put on hold for the time being. I have a feeling that climate change may be an issue as severe as a war. It may be necessary to put democracy on hold for a while."

James Lovelock, scientist and enviromentalist and former president of the Marine Biological Association. In 2006 he received the Wollaston Medal, the Geological Society's highest Award, whose previous recipients include Charles Darwin [4]. He became a CBE in 1990, and a Companion of Honour in 2003.

Professor of Biology at the University of Texas at Austin Eric R. Pianka is a very prominent advocate of radical human population control:

"First, and foremost, we must get out of denial and recognize that Earth simply cannot support many billions of people. This planet might be able to support perhaps as many as half a billion people who could live a sustainable life in relative comfort. Human populations must be greatly diminished, and as quickly as possible to limit further environmental damage. I do not bear any ill will toward humanity. However, I am convinced that the world WOULD clearly be much better off without so many of us."

"What country before ever existed a century & a half without a rebellion? & what country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon & pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. It is it's natural manure."

Thomas Jefferson.

"Don't think you can escape the Fourth Turning the way you might today distance yourself from news, national politics, or even taxes you don't feel like paying. History warns that a Crisis will reshape the basic social and economic environment that you now take for granted. The Fourth Turning necessitates the death and rebirth of the social order. It is the ultimate rite of passage for an entire people, requiring a luminal state of sheer chaos whose nature and duration no one can predict in advance."

"History offers no guarantees. If America plunges into an era of depression or violence which by then has not lifted, we will likely look back on the 1990s as the decade when we valued all the wrong things and made all the wrong choices."

"Reflect on what happens when a terrible winter blizzard strikes. You hear the weather warning but probably fail to act on it. The sky darkens. Then the storm hits with full fury, and the air is a howling whiteness. One by one, your links to the machine age break down. Electricity flickers out, cutting off the TV. Batteries fade, cutting off the radio. Phones go dead. Roads become impossible, and cars get stuck. Food supplies dwindle. Day to day vestiges of modern civilization – bank machines, mutual funds, mass retailers, computers, satellites, airplanes, governments – all recede into irrelevance. Picture yourself and your loved ones in the midst of a howling blizzard that lasts several years. Think about what you would need, who could help you, and why your fate might matter to anybody other than yourself. That is how to plan for a saecular winter. Don't think you can escape the Fourth Turning. History warns that a Crisis will reshape the basic social and economic environment that you now take for granted."
