("Empiric" or the "Company" or, together with its subsidiaries, the "Group")
Issue of Equity
The Board of Empiric Student Property plc (ticker: ESP), the owner and operator of premium student accommodation across the UK, announces that the Company has issued and allotted a total of 138,247 ordinary shares in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") following the exercise of options.
Application will be made for the Ordinary Shares to be listed on the Official List of the Financial Conduct Authority and admitted to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange on 6 October 2017 ("Admission").
The total number of Ordinary Shares in the Company in issue immediately following Admission will be 602,887,740 each with equal voting rights. This total voting rights figure can be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine whether they are required to notify their interest in the Company under the Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules of the Financial Conduct Authority.
This notification is made in accordance with Article 19 of the Market Abuse Regulations.
