7.90 v 8.30p +0.05p

On the cycle the stocks do, EEE is now on the way up again being the second day doing so. MMS HAVE made the spread larger but make you paid almost top offer, but prices paid for selling are improving all the time now paying 8.122p

Newtons 3rd law: for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.Maybe this explains why when we've had game changing news the share price has dropped?Alternatively, with no news for a week or so, I'm expecting this now to hit the moon.I suppose when standard financial analytics fail me I have to turn somewhere else...On a serious note though, it could be any day we find out that the Australian government have issued grants or the extraction process has been approved. Either of these could form the catalyst to the 20p+ region... Glah

Hi Scoble

If the spread is 7.8 - 8.10 and you're are filled at 7.944, because that price is actually nearer to the bid, the system will automatically assign it as a SELL

Juju44, I agree lots of the trading action seems odd. Though I don’t really get the reasoning in the sense that MM’s make money in the turn. Delayed reporting is to protect them when they are exposed with a position hence the sliding scale of time in relation to trade size but I don’t really see what they have to gain by manipulating spread etc. I’m inclined to interpret as irrelevant noise but maybe there’s an MM on the board with an up to date view.

saracen3, I don’t know about exactly where but isn’t part of the business model to avoid unnecessary transport costs? So if in the future they were involved with a major it could be an extension of an existing processing facility or a sensible close location in relation to the two areas of focus. Perhaps you are making a subtler point that I’m missing!

Took a lot of buying to nudge it up yesterday and very little selling to move it back down today

Thanks saracen3

With all the information EEE have put into the market, the Team thats been assembled, the industry experts appointed, the inclusive involvement of CSIRO, Curtin University studies and support...there is some confidence Western Australia and Australian Government will be very supportive.IMHO

As an aside people forget that WA School of mines at Curtin In the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023, Curtin ranked 2nd in the world for Mineral and Mining Engineering !!

De Grey Mining gets Government funding for new mine in WA

Funds will be available for Empire. Very positive

Having received credit approved term sheets from a syndicate of domestic and international commercial banks, De Grey said Australian Government credit agencies, the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility and Export Finance Australia, were close to confirming their funding participation.

De Grey is expected to receive a $1 billion senior debt facility and $130 million cost overrun facility across the financing streams.

This will help fund the construction of the Tier 1 Hemi gold project in the Pilbara region of WA, which De Grey hopes to commence in the second half of 2024, with a two-year construction period to follow.

De Grey then hopes to achieve first gold production in the second half of 2026.

It comes after the company closed a $600 million capital raise in May, which was said to unlock further financing discussions.

Apologies if this is old news but noticed this on X . Has there been any discussions on where the ore will be processed. Shows significant funding is available.

Must say it is strange. There's been days of decent volume and the spread has been massive. Today not that much and tiny spread! Go figure...

Just wondering if there's a buyer and a seller around with such a tight spread?

I'm not against them raising and being opportunist on that front. But they certainly don't need to at the moment and I think SB is keen to demonstrate to the market what they have been saying ie that the processing route is nailed on it's just a case of establishing the exact process. As that is established value should be recognised.

Shaun stated to me and as he has also said in interviews they were not out raising funds. When they raised the money from the Saudi investor the brokers decided to add others onto the placing, SB was not amused by this. Thus I don't think the placing route in future and everything involved with that is what they have in mind IMHO.

Yes agree. But the Pitfield project really is something exceptional. If it was anywhere other than W Australia I'd also have reservations but they support the mining industry and see it very much as part of the current culture and future of the country's prosperity. Juniors do have a respected place in that system. Not saying it's straightforward for them it isn't but this has an asset and management expertise worthy of a much bigger company. How long could majors ignore this anywhere near its current MC if evidence of the processing route is presented to the market?

Thanks i did listen to SB's interviews but its also useful to read other long term holders thoughts. My expertise over the last 12 years has been more gold orientated.
