margin calls |
What causes the sort of collapse 6.7% ,we had this morning.? 1). natural supply and demand. 2). concerted selling to buy back cheaper. 3). domino effect on margin course. 4). or ? |
Clearly, you are better at this game than I am.I did not think it would go below 9p.Never stop learning.Anyway, I picked up a few this morning. |
I am at the watching stage . |
well done juju44. I agree with the selling being a bit overdone. (Oversold? ;) I've topped up with a very small buy this morning.

I thought this thread was setup to get rid of the trolls? Where's bspgamer?
I was looking at retrace to 8.5 which was the previous resistance. Hopefully 8.5 holds and we bounce back from it.... |
The above well known TROLL has totally screwed other threads on ADV&N so best FILTERED like the coffee I am about to enjoy.... |
Thanks manlord1
Very positive post. Confirms my belief from previous conversations....we will get Govt support....just waiting on the news IMHO
The RNS on this will do wonders for confidence and our share price. |
When Trump was last in he made it known how important certain minerals were. The Democrats threw a spanner regards in house oil production and relied on imports...10% for the big guy...if you know you know. From my observations no tariffs on Australia. A bit of a retrace here. Fully expected as some individuals will cover their position bit by bit. Still very excited with the management here and the potential. |

GTAS , I never give advice just think out loud and I would never buy or sell based on what I read on a bulletin board . I have a shed load of these already and will be sitting on them regardless of charts . Good luck with your decisions |
![](/p.php?pid=profilepic&user=manlord1) For those who haven't seen it. Https://x.com/empiremetalsltd/status/1887051765847122015?s=46&t=ZJI0eYTSNTDS5td0s4vPXw100% ads. SB has spoken to me directly about the available funding options to the company. We're all aware of them as has been discussed recently and the latest EIS became live on the 4th Feb. No idea when or if or how much we will apply for but all options are on the table with outside sources also an option. Simple explanation is that there are various grants that we can apply for, the last grant option is now closed to applications as it was a three year program that started in 2022. The new grant, along with other similar grants from the federal and state governments generally provide up to 50% funding of a project cost. The current strategy is to continue with the R&D Tax Incentive, where Empire receive 43.5% back for all eligible expenditure for R&D work (a large percentage of the work, i.e. metallurgy and process development). The next step would be to consider applying for a grant to fund the Pilot Plant (or else we could continue to claim the upcoming pilot plant expenditure under the R&D Tax Incentive). Empire need to work on costing and plant design details before they are ready to consider which grant is most applicable and then proceed to apply for the funding. They can't double dip, i.e. if they get one government grant, i.e. the EIS, then this funding has to be taken off any other grant funding, i.e. the R&D Tax IncentiveI'd be amazed if we don't have funding offered to us. Overbought position is unwinding |
I don't think we're vulnerable to a cheeky bid at all. Remember that we "only" hold 70% of Pitfield, and Pitfield hasn't even got JORC, permits or any of the other essentials in place, making it very hard for a 3rd party to swoop in with a big enough number on the back of what is really only preliminary metallurgical assessments. I'd welcome it as it would lend credibility/visibility leading to a much higher instant valuation. (Thus making future cash raises much much easier, thus increasing the options and probabilities of success for Empire.) Bring it on I say.
