Tell selftrade you want your old shares transfered onto the melbourne register (certificateless)If they won't do that get onto Computershare and ask them what should be done.If no joy report all you have done to FSA.
When your shares are registered you will receive a holding statement ,keep this like a share cert!

yep, not sold either will sit on them for many a year to come i think,i too have had no share certs and im with hargreaves lansdown.

No intention of selling yet, but I have been trying with no sucess to get my hands on my share certs from Selftrade so that I can decide when and through whom I eventually sell my shares

IMHO their service has nose dived, I am seriously p*ssed off with them :(

Anybody in the same boat?

Carlos,Hopefully your broker will contact WH for you. As for happenings here we live in hope of a Leopard or Mulle drill sometime before World Cup 2010.

anything happening with this - I decided to keep mine instead of selling before delisting

should my broking company (halifax) send me a certificate automatically or would I have to ask them, and then would I have to contact WH Ireland to sell them if I wanted to?

I recently emailed the company to clarify if all disputes had been settled re' SL and inc' the monies sought by the seismic operator. It seems to me from the following respone that they feel all is done and dusted with SL inc' the seismic dispute:-

Dear Mr xxxx,

Thank you for your email of 6 May 2009.

You will see in the fourth paragraph of page 2 of our announcement we state that we consider Elixir's involvement in the Dispute (as defined in the first paragraph of that page) to be at an end. In the second paragraph of the quote I have provided, I also confirm this.

Selftrade haven't got a clue what to do. I have emailed several times and they are still gazing at their navals!!
