Either that or they'll laugh at you with even greater vigour than Daly.

If Daley takes a bonus this year I will be contacting Perloff and D and A for a meeting They must be reasonable individuals surely? I will show them the many posts here and will attempt to tell them exactly what we all think of Daley's performance at the helm here.If Checkit doesn't perform then there is no way Daley is deserving of a bonus

You are correct in your views on management, they just wont listen to anyone they get an idea in their head and wont let it go that is why the director churn is so high.

When I was in touch with Rototherm, their directors told me they were not impressed with the outlook for Checkit.

Management here are behind the curve they cannot compete with established businesses not when they are taking the pay they are.

Well said Spec, this whole Chukit thing has been quite bizarre. Bit like the CEO of Heinz waking up one morning and saying, sod baked beans " we are going into the hoover market to take on Dyson" :-)

As i said years ago when this checkit fiasco started.
why when you have established brands like Hartest Sheens and Bulgin with eminently expandable ranges in a secure and well researched market would you suddenly go off on a tangent with a new(ish) product,in a market you dont know and up against competitors who have years of experience ahead of you and a loyal established customer base in an industry where no one has even heard of you. Why would you start a new company with no track record or experience when the companies you have already acquired outside you brand leaders are failing ?
This makes no business sense at all and never did. Why would you take a group of companies like Elektron that is barely surviving from accounts to accounts and lumber the whole set up with years of financial drain totaling millions of pounds with no return income. Then do this at a time when the group acknowledged it need to invest in its legacy products and was in financial difficulty.
Checkit has in effect forced Elektron and its shareholders to finance it. Elektron is like a bank lending out money it cant afford with absolutely no chance of ever being repaid.
Daley has systematically destroyed shareholder value here, now he is destroying the very heart of the company by syphoning off any money it makes into a dead loss, ill thought out gamble that he is losing fast.
I suspect that there is a real chance the Elektron could buckle under the strain of checkit. As far as i can see it only survives now by selling off its assets one by one.

Wow over 25!!Some would say Daley has done an exceedingly good job of getting paid bonuses and then ousting directors as soon as they stand up to himHow long will the current two last..I suppose it depends how big a bonus they give him each yearIt sums up Daley..all institutions have sold out..25 directors have left..no private investors will buy ekt..hartest acquisition was handled terribly..Jsop scheme was illegal..buyback of stock with excessive debt was to increase his control whilst landing ekt into serious financial difficulty..ploughed 6m into checkit and not one decent contract announced How has Daley survived all this??You couldn't make all this up

Have lost count of former directors I estimate over 25.

Have spoken to quite a lot of former directors, I haven't had a good word said from any I have spoken with about the Chairman.

The evidence speaks for itself the director churn is simply astonishing.

Its a shocking state of affairs.

The defendant directors are in a worse case scenario than when I started my action they have dragged lawyers into the mire now. It could get worse still as the financial advisors/brokers may have to pay compensation as well, they were put on notice of wrongdoing and failed to act.

Everything the company has done has come at a huge price, they only really highly profitable part of the group the Bulgin business.

They must think shareholders are clueless even the Bulgin business been consolidated with the switch business to hide the profitability of the switches business.

I suspect the whole point of the JSOP was to gain another 10% of the vote while not diluting the share capital. To that end it worked very well because i doubt he would have lasted past the Downing letter without the JSOP votes.

Judgement tape been received by transcription service and being typed up as we speak should be ready to be sent for Vice Chancellor approval very soon.

Treading here abysmal to say the least that in itself is unfairly prejudicial as the directors have brought the company into disrepute.

The taking of a bonus was clearly wrong when the directors have destroyed shareholder value, it can be recouped however.

I remember Daley telling me how excited he was that two institutions had decided to buy significant stakes in EkTThey where hendersons and downingWhy is it they both sold out?If Daley was to leave institutions would pile in again Daley won't leave as he knows he's paid much more than the AIm average salary and yet has no role at EktWill he ever put his shareholding and those of the rest of us before his 300k salary
