Tiger you are a good man..shame Daley has upset Barry,you,me,Peter Whear and many many other private investors.He has behaved disgracefully and is an embarassment to AIM..he sets an awful example to everyone
Tiger, you would have made a great Chair and wouldve taught Daley a thing or two
I think EKT are worth 10p..without Daley we wouldve been at least 40p
He has cost us all a lot of money and has ruined what shouldve been a great company

Well my selling seems to have caused a surge up.
After todays sells I am down to my last 90k

Yes gti I spoke to him last week but he didn't say much..just that he's thinking about his optionsGti..does Barry still tell you exactly what to post here or does he use your user name and password still?? ; )As u speak to him daily maybe u can update us?

strategically i think its better that Barry maintains radio silence at this stage.
I'm quite sure once the 11 justices of the Supreme Court have finished deliberating on Brexit they will turn their attentions to barry's charges of contempt of court :-)

Incredible figures from DewhurstAmazing that they have had 15 years of increased profit growth and dividend,the exact opposite of Elektron yet they pay themselves no bonuses no LTIP and 100k salaries for the BODIn fact they run the company for the benefit of its shareholders while Ekt BOD is run for the benefit of KD and JWEkt spend far too much time on the award of Daleys bonus and not enough time winning substantial contracts to match Checkits huge investmentDaley said our dividend was sacrosanct a few years ago and then went and bought back stock in Ekt whilst in debt.That infuriated Downing .However now the debt has fallen Daley has not reinstated the dividend but has started awarding bonuses to himself..surely bonuses should be tied to his performance or does he have a divine right to 300k pa?That is why no private investors or institutions will buy EKT,they just dien trust Daley..they know he puts himself first and other shareholders secondIf Daley really believed in Checkit he would've put that 90k bonus into Checkit..but no he pays himself 90k and then sacks Reeves our company secretary!!That sums him upThoughts Mr Templar?

I think what Jugger is saying is Checkit is a failure already, the chances of it ever selling enough to recoup the millions already invested is about nil.

My friend thinks Daley will step down if Checkit is a failureI told him no way as he wants 300k every year for many years..great annuity to have for doing nothing!!He says there is no role for him now I'm the companyI told him there has never been a role except for the total destruction of what was once a great company with great prospects

Its not about improving companies or adding value. At the end of the day its about earning as much as you can from the situation fate has landed you in and that's exactly what he does.
All this grumbling about what he has done and how he has failed misses the point. To him "failure" has bought more money than he could have earnt anywhere else in three lifetimes. This is what people don't seem to understand about this company,its not failing Daley it's run by him for him and he milks it for all its worth it seems . It's pretty typical AIM. surely no one still thinks, going on past or present performance, that this company is still being run with its stated aim of returning shareholder value ?? .......lol

Still no reply from John wilson by telephone or emailI will be looking forward to voting vs all resolutions at the next AGMI will also look to meeting D and A next year to make sure BOD remuneration is cut and no bonus for Daley as Checkit is an obvious failure as is DaleyDaley once asked me why not one institution backed him during his tenure and why 90pct of private investors had sold out..you couldn't make it up!! And yet he thinks he's done a bloody good job deserving of a 100k bonus!!

How times have changed. this company used to say it fixed broken companies. Now after many years of trying it has failed to make any money from wallace despite a 1,2m turnover. What a damning admission to finally say "its contribution was not material to the Group." very much like Daleys then.

I said that years ago, this was always a private company simply because if it was public no one would stand for what has gone on here. Paradoxically. because of what has gone on it will always be private now. Pats best chance is to sell to D&A or Perloff/Kinder while he can IMHO. I'n fairness Daley knew the PI's might topple him so he dreamt up the JSOP that gave him an unbeatable amount of votes so even had the PI's banded together they wouldn't have won. Judith knew that and that's why she sold up,its certainly the reason i sold up, the reality is it's not worth the bother, there are hundreds of tin pot companies like this.

One thing that comes to mind on this thread, is that Daley and his team must love seeing how much, the independent shareholders fight, that has always been the problem, his divide and rule has been perfect, if when all this started to go south had all of the smaller shareholders stood together, the company would not be the shambles it is today. That's my opinion, at one time you held enough and had enough contacts to make a difference, but the time has passed now just suck it up, it is now a private company posing as a public.Well done Mr Daley you have won, and I doff my hat to you.
