Ok as there are no holders left here die to excessive remuneration for a BOD that has created no value at all in fact they have destructed shareholder valueAnd as no one replying I'm outta hereI will just have to vote VS all AGM resolutions next yearA fat lot of good that will do!!

Surely we could've saved 180k in bonuses and paid out a 0.1p divi? Or put the money into checkit?do U think directors should be getting bonuses on top of 800k BOD remuneration?!

Out of 10 how would you rate KD and JW performances over the last 13 years??

I never mentioned my opinion about anyone's abilitiesThe hartest takeover was a mess as was the move out of China all be it the move was probably the right thing to doI just don't like the fant that the directors get rewarded for nothing.we are back to square one and our shares have fallen substantially with no dividendsIf checkit is a success then reward yourselves but why the hell did you get an 80k bonus this year when all that's happened is d and a wiped out a substantial amount of the debt??!!Does ekt owe kd ? Has he really been an unbelievable chair that we have to pay him 200k every year plus bonuses and free shares?? Would no one else have got to this kind of pbt after 13 years at the helm?I will be looking to see what bonuses are this year as it really oissed me off that 80k!!

Well, actually as i see it he managed to rack up costs at a fantastic rate and bankrupt the opposition meaning he couldn't continue. Not sure that is winning in court ?

Lets call a spade a spade
You invested here, you even added just last week. The company has been in decline for what 5-6 years with Daley at the controls ? You know the score, nothings changed in fact normal service has been maintained remarkably for Daley and the BOD regardless of the accounts. If you can see value here then good for you but the wages and power setup are all part of the package. You cant like a company and not like the CEO or director of 10 years, they are the company and the reason everyone else sold up.
Up till this week i had sympathy that you were in too deep to get out but as you continue to invest here i am at a loss as to what to say.
You just better hope the company pet, chuckit the dog gets put down before he brings Bulgin down.

Not sure about that as he ploughs his money back into ekt so he must be very committed to a stronger share priceMaybe he is instigating the right strategy,that's not my gripeMy gripe is shareholders here have lost fortunes cos of his takeover and treatment of hartest and cos of the disastrous move out of China which cost us millions of poundsSo why the hell is he getting a bonus and the chance to buy 4m shares at a 15 year low in our share price?Surely he should be sensitive to shareholder losses? Surely he is not deserving of a bonus of 80k when the previous non execs didn't set him tgts to get one?Or is it because the derivative action is now over so he can do as he pleases?? He won in court and can now go about increasing his large remuneration while us shareholders continue to suffer??!!Maybe he should remember when we had 9m in losses and very nearly went bust? Maybe he should put himself in our position and ask whether no dividends and a 80 pctcapital loss from the highs is a nice position to be in??!!

The problem is pat they are not just creaming off the top and remaining on an even keel.
They are running the company down as can be seen from the figures here. Every time another share is issued or another bit is sold off what's left has to work even harder... but doesnt and never has. The way it is going this company will last just long enough for KD to retire a very rich man which i suspect is all it needs to do anyway.

I have no friend At d and aPerloff I like but he does as he pleases and his investment here isn't important to him Kinder is a big fan of kd and supports all his movesThis has always been run by the directors for the directors and nothing has changedI still think there is value here but so much of it goes to the BOD when really shareholders interests are totally ignored

I didn't vote for as I didn't like the fact kd got a bonus out of the blueAndy may have deserved one and JW they could argue may have left so that's debatable depending on whether the remuneration cmmtee felt he is the right man for the jobI didn't vote VS it as I had no problem with the LTIP hurdlesI didn't agree with kd being allowed to buy 4m shares at mid mkt price after a profit warning which to me is opportunistic and why should he buy when there were no sellers there??With his remuneration anyone would think he had built ekt into a ftse 250 company in his 13 years in charge!! Indeed the shares have halved and profits have divedPaying 80k when it wasn't agreed at beginning of the year is pure greedRemuneration cmmtee should look at where this company was in 2003 and see what kd has done to it In 13 years..is he deserving of 300k salary and bonuses with a call option of 4m shares at 5p with the shares falling from 40p under his tenureship

Did you vote against any of this at the AGM ? no of course not. You have bought yourself a privileged position in this company, if you don't use it you only have yourself to blame. Daley and Wilson have made it pretty clear what they plan to do and have sought clearance at the AGM for each new scheme to line their pockets. Have you even called your friend at D&A or any other major shareholders to discuss this ? after all they bankrolls this company.

I bought at 6p as I see value There is a price for everythingRather bit ekt than a hole in the ground!!But the behaviour of the BOD is a disgrace,paying bonuses when the core business has gone nowhere in 15 yearsI have no problem paying bonuses if we get a return on the millions put into checkit but paying bonuses out to JW and kd is just stealing from shareholders Give us some thing before u pay yourself excessive bonuses

Of course it's not right pat, what they did to Barrie was not right either but as you have been told a hundred times this company is run for the benefit of a few individuals, it's made no effort to return any form of shareholder value for years !!

The turnover, the profit, the share price have been dropping steadily for years and yet boardroom wages have been climbing correspondingly :-)

Didn't stop you increasing your stake again this week though did it ? you obviously feel that of all the investment opportunities out there this is the best this week. You cant have it both ways.
Bottom line is no one can say the BOD have ever made any attempt to disguise the millions paid in wages , bonuses and the gratuitous payments to the two at the top regardless of the awful performance. On the one occasion they tried to introduce a performance related package (jsop) they needed a 5p rise in the share price over 3 years and got a 15p drop :-)
That my friend shoulds tell you all you need to know.

Elektron paid dividends for many years and mr daley even said the dividend was sacrosanctSo is it right that shareholders no longer get dividends yet the directors get 250k in bonuses on top of 750k in salaries?

Trouble is Pat, Daley always makes an issue about his percentage backing at these meetings and not voting does nothing. It doesn't send a message to the remuneration committee and most of all it doesn't send a message to other large holders. Daley will be laughing at you.

Agreed I wanted to tie bonuses to Checkits performance but no one listens to meHey hoDo think we will rally to 7p(now the directors got their 4m in at multi year lows)
