21/3/2016 15:16 | Hopefully a line will be drawn under the past with these results and we can see our way forward back to the giddy heights of 18 or, dare I say, 24 pence per share. All academic as far as I'm concerned as I sold out most of mine on the way down | interstellar
21/3/2016 13:46 | Results coming up and price going north: this is not a co-incidence, IMHO! | andrewbaker
19/3/2016 13:11 | it is a requisite that all shareholders can attend such meetings- it's results (not update) day and you can't bar the owners from attending. You should check this one out if you want to see how companies that take their investors serioulsy behave ALso PAYS had their entire 5 hour presentation streamed live in DEcember. I've made quite a bit from both companies and the transparency of accountability, process and strategy is far removed from this shambles | silverfern
18/3/2016 16:51 | There is not much to say/discuss....yet, but I am still invested here (including topping up several times recently) and I note that "all" investors are invited to the presentation, how refreshing it will be for PI's to get the same information as the institutions! That aside, RW's ambition is to create a global player out of EKF, and clearly there is a lot to be done in order to create such, but he has a solid platform and he does have the credentials and an excellent track record. So, let's see what the next few weeks brings to the table in terms of tangible information. | wan
18/3/2016 16:11 | These charts are all noise and not to be taken seriously. What should be considered carefully is the big uptick in share value and volume after notification of investor presentation. Something's cooking somewhere. | interstellar
18/3/2016 14:58 | I note the bottom red channel line has been hit since I posted Good them charts eh ? buywell3 16 Aug'15 - 17:42 - 935 of 1080 0 0 edit The chart ie market, takes this view free stock charts from uk.advfn.com Perhaps sometimes it is better to concentrate on making an acquisition become profitable before moving on to the next , and the next , and the next. Making profits is not easy , making acquisitions is , it only requires a pen and ink and some money. As of today The chart has become much worse as 2 channel supports have been broken free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | buywell3
26/2/2016 16:49 | ... and it's started to move north today: if there's anybody there paying any attention at all, lol. | andrewbaker
23/2/2016 16:08 | This is a big potential little stock that is under the radar of most, but take a look at what it does, and maybe buy a few at what is currently a knock-down price, IMHO. Disclosure: I'm long. | andrewbaker
03/2/2016 08:44 | Interstellar...It was in the November Trading Update "a provision against, or write off of, specific debtors", I assumed at the time that it was probably predominantly directed at the Mexican contract given the previous commentary. | wan
03/2/2016 08:31 | A step, albeit small, in the right direction. But still getting unwanted surprises. I didn't know (or had missed) any previous comments about Mexican debtors. When was that mentioned before? | interstellar
03/2/2016 07:54 | I thought we might see something for the Mexican debtors and further action right across the company. Quarterly updates are most welcome though! I am ultimately pleased to see that RW appears committed to making EKF a focused and major player in Point-of-Care, where I align with his comment that there is considerable future prospects, aided of course by his network and knowledge. | wan
02/2/2016 08:33 | Interesting (generally) to note that yesterday Abbott have taken Alere out. | wan
25/1/2016 07:59 | I note Angle's announcement this morning - Angle PLC UKE publishes evaluation of Parsortix 25/01/2016 PEER-REVIEWED PUBLICATION HIGHLIGHTS SIGNIFICANT ADVANTAGES OF PARSORTIX(TM) IN HARVESTING CTCS OVER OTHER APPROACHES | wan

24/12/2015 17:57 | Wan I hate to say this but dont expect a single bean from Selah.. it is a totally naive deal and frankly a total nonsense as all one needs to do is lend them money that you can convert to shares whenever the year is up.. so nothing coming from that. The original owners who bought it back have done this before, if I recall they sold it for big money and bought it back for about £1m and this bunch of plonkers bought it from them again for $40m a few months later.... | bigman
23/12/2015 12:52 | Haha I can't think of a worse signing in football than buying Saleh genomics. Roberto Soldado for £29 mill? Villareal went on to pay £10 mill for him, so he's worth at least £10 mill more than Saleh! | kestelmill
23/12/2015 09:01 | Great accounting as usual - that sort of stuff should be written down as it clearly gave a false asset value. With hindsight and common sense, why do a deal where the vendors have nothing to concentrate thieir minds? It will be interesting to see if they get value for the $1.... | semper vigilans
23/12/2015 08:56 | Well it does teach a very importnat and very expensive lesson. Acquisition for acquisition sake is an ego trip to ruin. Unless there is true synergy and much potential unlockable value company executives should steer well clear of acquisitions. I agree Baines should go or whoever was responsible for this fiasco and wasteful course of action. Just maybe this is the turning point but who will be left reaping the reward. Well I guess we know the answer to that. RZ | interstellar |
