RNS Number:4461Z Eicom PLC 02 July 2007 EICOM plc ("Eicom" or "the Company"; stock code: EIC) Issue of Ordinary Shares Further to an announcement on 3 November 2006 relating to the signing of a series of put and call options to raise a maximum of #2.7million net of discount, Eicom today announces that it has part-exercised the fourth option and has placed 4,458,200 Ordinary Shares of 0.5p each at a price of 8.5p per share to raise #378,947 gross of placing fees, #360,000 net of placing fees. Application has been made today for these shares to be admitted to AIM, and trading is expected to commence on 6 July 2007. This brings the total number of Ordinary Shares with voting rights to 28,330,498 which may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
