24/10/2022 11:01 | Remember Premier Oil now called Harbour Energy?............. Who bought? | ![]() anley
24/10/2022 08:33 | Interesting comment in an article in today's Daily Mail by journalist, Dominic Lawson, (son of former chancellor of same surname) He says Rishi Sunak was more in favour of lifting ban on fracking than BJ. If so, then one assumes that will remain and be renewed as policy - especially after vote passed again in parliament last week. (despite chaos) So EDR and others - get on with it! Show peeps it works and all can benefit in some way! | ![]() gerhart
21/10/2022 10:01 | Only the government, with a working majority, can decide the date of the next general election. The other parties and lib left media can call as much as they want for an election. But Tories won't be voting for election any time soon, given their apparent place in the polls. So next general election could be as late as Jan 2025! (the max time left for this parliament) That is legally and constitutionally the case. Parties/Gov's are elected, not individuals as Prime Ministers. Next week the instability will be over. The Tories will unite and take fight to Lab. They know the only other way is oblivion. So fracking companies that move quickly could have profitable, operating wells (assuming they have commercially viable finds) well ahead of any election. Even if Lab win next time, if they see safe fracking and revenue being generated and UK energy supplies being safe guarded, they will not shut them. At very least they might just kick the issue further down the line. If you look at Starmer's record, he has just about ditched everything he has ever said he was for, whenever it suits. He'd have no trouble doing this. Look at promises made in bid to become leader - all ditched! I think Lab mainly wanted fracking blocked as they see how it could play out so positive and help save the Gov. Just cynical politics. | ![]() gerhart

07/10/2022 09:15 | Which of course is an admission that the UK needs oil EVERY DAY. We could ship across the world and give a despot some money, or we could produce it ourself and use it, and be responsible for the environmental impacts of producing the oil we NEED. | ![]() lageraemia
07/10/2022 08:55 | Opponents of the North Kelsey development said it would, at best, produce enough oil to supply the UK for less than a day.. hxxps://drillordrop. | ![]() haydock

04/10/2022 13:30 | On the UJO ones. I'd agree that they are buying an opportunity and not cashing in to dumping. Probably not last they will take up either. So that may bode very well for SP, as vote of confidence. The downside is these things are "profitable" from about 2.5p. Theoretically. | ![]() gerhart
04/10/2022 13:24 | Maybe news on Biscathorpe next week ? | ![]() kwizza
04/10/2022 12:59 | Firstly, they are exercised for CASH. The £100,000 from UJO is not an insignificant amount, and more importantly isn't subject to a placing-like skim-scam from bucket-shop crooks like share price Angle leaking the info all over the place. EDR SHOULD be able to put £100k to work in a way that makes a return on capital. Secondly, I'd consider the UJO 3.11% stake to be 'tight hands' that will not increase the available float of shares in the market. I think Dave B considers a stake in EDR to be a strategic and operational opportunity. There's still a distinct lack of activity on the part of EDR's operated licences......(see my first point about £100,000) | ![]() lageraemia
04/10/2022 12:10 | But on the Upside, once they are exercised, there is less of an overhang, as they can only be exercised once :) | ![]() sgtbilko42
04/10/2022 08:32 | This is the one key downside for me on EDR. The overhang of all these warrants. They can be exercised - and dumped any time in profit. | ![]() gerhart
04/10/2022 08:23 | the Company announces that it has exercised 4,000,000 warrants at 2.5p each to subscribe for 4,000,000 ordinary shares in Egdon Resources plc ("Egdon"). Following the exercise, the Company's holding in Egdon is 17,000,000 ordinary shares , representing 3.13% of the issued share capital of Egdon. | ![]() jasper2712 |
