What a pile of plop this outfit really is |
Tips, unfortunately, are all we have at the moment. A decent tip in a respected newspaper or newsletter could bring a wave of buying that could easily increase the share-price to 6p+, hence I don't think we can dismiss them. |
Tips only offer a temporary respite |
IC tip has not lifted a share. Imagine that. |
from ST in IC yesterday. Keep the faith!
"Although it’s the laggard of my 2024 Bargain Shares portfolio, eEnergy (EAAS) fits the bill neatly. It helps organisations, especially in the public sector, achieve their net zero goals by designing, funding and implementing energy-efficient projects such as solar panels, energy efficient lighting, electric vehicle charging. Effectively, you're getting an operational business that can make a pre-tax profit of £2mn or more next year in the price for free. That's because eEnergy has got a market cap of £18mn, net cash in the bank of £6mn, and it's due a contingent deferred earnout from a disposal it made at the start of the year that could add another £10mn to that cash position by the end of next year. So from my perspective, the investment risk is incredibly favourable for investment at the current level." |
Small top up today. Why not it is Christmas. |
Shouldn’t be too tricky. |
The sooner those come into play the better. Lol |
Usually before quarter end so end Dec. Given festive opening times difficult to predict exactly when. |
No idea can’t find reference to anything |
Is there due to be an announcement before Xmas from the company ? |
All I know there is always someone willing to offload into any rise |
Is there going to be any return though and if there is when will it be announced |
Sad to say current market cap under 17 million so potential contingent return estimate is actually half of this. With all the positive potential indicated in the last webinar we are surely due a rerate. |
When is this outfit going to get moving |
PCOK. You saw the 20 million in the Investor update presentation for March 2024. To quote "Additional contingent consideration capped at £20m, estimated by company to be in the range of £8m-£10m (a third of the current market cap) based on delivery of the business plan". Its on page 3 |
Just been doing some checking. This is from the 22.1.24 RNS about the sale of the EMD:
The contingent consideration is estimated by the Company to be in the range of GBP8 million to GBP10 million, subject to the Energy Management Division achieving strong growth in line with its business plan, and is capped at GBP20 million.
I thought I'd seen the £20m figure somewhere. Highly unlikely I know but we can but dream. |
Pcok.
Where do you get your information from about the December update?
Tia |
Apologies. Got carried away with optimistic memory. Agreed max 10m over the period. Indication of first payment still at end of month. |
the extra EDM money is not guaranteed and depends on performance/sales post the EDM sale. It is estimated as being between £8m and £10m up to Sept 2025 (so c18 month period). Harvey has stated this figure is reasonable and realistic. I would be happy with anything over £2m for this first period as it is just over 6 months. As overall share price value is c£18m a 10% to 15% uplift would be greatly appreciated. |
Hi daveme - yes this is correct - max £10m over the two years |
I thought the total additional payment relating to the business sale was £10M split over two years, not £10M per year, with the first payment resulting from the performance in the year to September 2024 and the second payment to the year ending September 2025, and the second payment being the larger of the two.
Assuming the full £10M is paid (fantastic if it is, but probably unlikely), I would have thought a split of £3M and £7M. That said, however, anything close to £3M wouldn't be shabby on a £17M market cap. |
2p or 30 % down in 6 weeks is ridiculous stinks to be quite frank |
Market cap £17.3m. Chance of up to £10m first legacy payment from energy management division sale and up to something similar next year as well. We will find out first figure later this month. Something really not adding up here especially when coupled with bullish recent update. I am painfully holding but must confess to confusion re the current share price I am hopeful the December update includes good earnings visibility, further contracts, and a chunky first payment. |
