In France at the moment where I'll be for the next 3 weeks so no can do agm. It's a waste of time anyway. They will waffle on about how brilliant they are and how much they deserve the millions they have milked from shareholders over the years. Then any and all resolutions will be passed. Then they will go back underground and nothing will be heard from them until next placing.

Looks like the wages placing will be delayed until after the AGM. The bod may be clowns, but they ain't stupid, lol. Closed period, lol. So the bod can't buy shares because it is a closed period so rampers have said. Well it's been a long closed period, over 5 years, lol.

Placing at 0.02p on the cards...... what a shower of a company. Share price 25% what it was a year ago, no prospect of funding. No wonder the BoD don't buy shares.... just keep milking placings. Awful performance.

Funding raises real issues of how viable this whole project and the company running it is in my opinion. The BOD if they were decent should already have had several suitable lenders with framework agreements already drawn up so as soon as the licence was aquired the funding could be lent. I find the fact that they have waited to gain the licence before taking any action hard to grasp and that is one of many factors of why i would worry about putting money here.

Going concern

At 31 December 2015, the Group had cash balances totalling GBP316,652 and in March 2016 the Company placed 1,333,333,333 new ordinary shares of 0.02p each for a placing price of 0.03p, providing the Company with GBP400,000 additional funds. In addition, subscribers to the placing were issued with 666,666,666 warrants exercisable for 18 months from Admission at 0.04p per warrant into an equivalent number of ordinary shares in the Company.

Based on the current working capital forecast, the Group is likely to need additional funds within twelve months of the date of approval of these financial statements in order to maintain its proposed work programme and levels of expenditure. The ability of the Group to raise additional funds is dependent upon investor appetite. A large element of the expenditure on the licences is discretionary and both head office costs and Tanzanian administration costs can be reduced if the additional funds cannot be raised and the Group therefore continues to adopt the going concern basis in preparing its consolidated financial statements.

EDL has become the new MTV. Placings galore, warrants issued like confetti and directors creaming a salary for years. The only difference is at least the MTV bod's bought shares in their company unlike this bunch of halfwits.

looks like another placing as I can see forward selling already happening. We are going to be left with nothing in this company-another "AIM" waste of space. I think they have to close AIM down as thy are just scamming the investors.

Be carful what you wish for. I see pi's on many different chat forums mouthing off about news soon and we need news to get the share price up. Well, we've had news, PL licence granted the share price went down, sepco come on board the share price went down, Runh came on board the share price went down. We got the ML the share price went down and now equipment is being moved about on site. Which probably means Rufus has moved his drinks cabinet over to Tanzania. And the share price is down. We have no finance apart from placings and a board that is out of its depth. And that's the good news, lol.

I'm in here (wish I wasn't at times). But I do agree with some posters. The BoD are not buying shares. In most people's eyes that is a bad sign. Surely if funding was close or anything decent was close they would be lining their pockets with shares ready for a rise. When (if) the BoD start buying in, then we have a reason to be optimistic.
