20/3/2024 18:43 | Intel had to be used by HP Dell Many more pc assemblers . They had opposition - Motorola one that comes to mind . The adoption of Intel was not really about the users (farmers) it was about the pc makers - bigAg. No parallel is perfect Microsoft and Unix no parallels here? | alchemy
20/3/2024 17:30 | Chrischas To be fair, I think it is more important that farmers have heard of Eastman. Eastman is the company at the point of sale, the direct interface and the one with the relationship with the farmer, not Eden. What is important is that big Ag knows and has heard of Eden, has a relationship with Eden and wants to do business with Eden. | investingisatrickygame
20/3/2024 17:05 | The team were taken back? Why? That sums up Eden. They should know farmers produce and they are the ones that will use their products. How many farmers have even heard of Eden or their products? | chrischas
20/3/2024 16:31 | Our push towards creating a sustainable agricultural future cannot be realised without the support of the farmers who use our plant-based crop protection products. As part of a routine site visit, the Eden and Eastman teams went to Sicily to meet farmers to see our flagship bionematicide Cedroz™ in action. Here are a few key observations from CEO Sean Smith and CFO Alex Abrey following their visit: 🔬 Parasitic disease caused by root-knot nematodes can have damaging effects on crop yields if not effectively managed and controlled – this ultimately impacts the farmer’s bottom line and, in extreme cases, can be detrimental to food supply. 🧪 Cedroz™ continues to prove as effective, if not more effective, than other nematicides available on the market. Additionally, farmers enjoy the added benefit that Cedroz’s natural ingredients provide towards organic compliance. 🧾 Our products are only as helpful to the farmer as the label printed on the bottle. The farmers the team met in Sicily pointed towards the strict nature to which the product is applied ensuring that it is used at the right time, in the right quantity. 🤝 By partnering with one of the industry’s largest players Eastman, Eden is able to tap into its large network to effectively reach farmers across the globe – including the small but mighty island of Sicily! The team were taken back by the vast scale of these farms and greenhouses. | supersonico
20/3/2024 15:45 | Farmers and choice. Given some current products might be given the heave Ho what with micro plastics and so on. Turnover of Eden imbedded or coated product might increase regardless of choice . Shareholders might be enrichenef by necessity . Intel inside Eden outside/ naturally . | alchemy
20/3/2024 15:41 | Still working on thoughts around why are we not higher. Marcap at 20 would be 100 mill not to shabby if turnover were only at 3.1 mill. What would share price be if historical figures showed us at close to breaken ad prebiously posted that would have to be alongside a 3 times greater turnover. | alchemy

20/3/2024 11:43 | Then why does Cavendish have a price point of 20p for today?! | investingisatrickygame
20/3/2024 11:24 | sales, sales, sales IIATG. Although they are increasing year by year recently they are tiny volumes in the grand scheme of things. They need consistent and substantially larger sale volumes that in turn will at least get the company to break even and even better a small profit before anyone takes them seriously as a potential investment opportunity. I am confident that will happen, but have said before my timeline for this is much longer than most on here. I consider Eden a good speculative punt at the moment, but sentiment I believe is turning, albeit slowly. Anyone that knows the story and the potential here (as I can clearly see from your posts you do), that’s all fine and dandy but without proving to the market that farmers will buy and use the products, few see Eden as commercially viable in the long term. At the moment volumes of sales against market opportunities quoted are barely registering. (Look at the numbers - I have!) Ecovelux, USA markets, Powedery Mildew and Insecticide approvals all will help tip the balance in my opinion | kittybiscuits

20/3/2024 10:12 | We are now in the 4's, albeit in an illiquid market again, but it is not a good look for the Company. Here we are on the road to global expansion and at present, no one wants to buy our shares, no one sees the Cavendish value of 20p, or the Joanne Hart article citing a return to 19p. We are meant to be a company moving forward, breaking ground, with unique know-how, protective IP, solving crop problems with all of the modern day requirements around product/company image in regards to the planet and no one in the investment community is placing any value on any of that! With the direction of travel in Eden's favour, why do some of you think Eden is considered to not be a good investment right now, as exampled by the ongoing lack of share trade volume and a decreasing price? | investingisatrickygame |
