An already retired scarecrow and as yet, no EUA?

Why promote so actively, something you haven't got for sale?

It's been an excellent week for my colleagues who attended Euroseeds 2023 this week in Malta. This event was Corteva Agriscience's most successful Euroseeds event to date!

The team put great effort into showcasing Corteva's innovative Seed Applied Technologies range in our interactive display booth.

Our Seed Applied Technologies portfolio is growing to meet farmers' needs, and this year's launch of Lumiposa® was highlighted, along with Ecovelex™, a bird-repellent seed treatment, for which registration will start from 2025 onwards.

Clearly, scarecrows got wind of this news, as they are retiring! Our product also does not harm birds but is far more effective. Hence, the team had a unique companion at the stand who served as a great conversation starter about what Ecovelex™ can do!

Copenhagen awaits next year, and I have no doubt the team will raise the bar even further! #TogetherWeGrow #KeepGrowing #Euroseeds2023 #GrowingTheFuture

Two companies accounted for more than half of corn, soybean, and cotton seed sales in 2018–20

Two companies—Corteva and Bayer—provided more than half the U.S. retail seed sales of corn, soybeans, and cotton in 2018–20, the most recent period for which estimates are available. In recent decades, the U.S. crop seed industry has become more concentrated, with fewer and larger firms dominating seed supply. Today, four firms (Bayer, Corteva, ChemChina’s Syngenta Group, and BASF) control the majority of crop seed and agricultural chemical sales. In 2015, six firms led global markets for seeds and agricultural chemicals. The concentration can be traced to the expansion of intellectual property rights to private companies for seed improvements in the 1970s and 1980s, creating an incentive to research and develop new biotechnology seed traits and seed varieties. As biotechnology advanced, companies created genetically modified (GM) varieties of seed, such as herbicide-tolerant or insect-resistant corn, soybeans, and cotton. Mergers occurred between companies that produced and sold pesticides (primarily herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides), seed treatments (seed coatings to protect against insects or fungi), crop seeds, and seed traits. As a result, the U.S. crop seed sector has become highly integrated with agricultural chemicals and more concentrated. This chart is drawn from data in the USDA, ERS publication Concentration and Competition in U.S. Agribusiness, published in June 2023, and the Amber Waves article Expanded Intellectual Property Protections for Crop Seeds Increase Innovation and Market Power for Companies, published in August 2023.

Canary told you so..

Pierre Kory, MD MPA @PierreKory

Forensic study just published found Pfizer hid cardiac deaths in the vaccinated arm of their report. Had they not done that, the world would have been aware of a 3.7 fold increase in cardiac deaths among the vaccinated.

Crimes are finally being revealed.

Serious stuff. The upshot of #PlasmidGate is that, not only were the mRNA “vaccines” unsafe and ineffective, but they didn’t even test the version they forced on the public. It was produced by another method that left it contaminated with DNA that can interact with your genes.

Steve Kirsch @stkirsch

Breaking: You can now sue the mRNA COVID vaccine manufacturers for damages and the FDA is required to take the COVID vaccines off the market. Why? Adulteration. The plasmid bioactive contaminant sequences were NOT pointed out to the regulatory authorities. It's considered adulteration. I just got off the phone with Professor Byram Bridle and Dr. Robert Malone on this.

The FDA is now at a crossroads. Either they admit that they knew about the plasma contamination, and failed to disclose that to the public and to the outside committees, or they can claim that they didn’t know about it in which case Pfizer is liable. But we have the Pfizer documents that were given to the FDA so we know what the FDA got. And I seriously doubt there’s any disclosure of SV40 contamination. That means we have an adulterated vaccine and the FDA has to remove it from the market until the adulteration is fixed. If the FDA doesn’t do that, they should face criminal prosecution for endangering the public, and not following the law.

The SV40 promoter is found in all the vials and it was in the gene sequence that was provided to the regulators. There is no mistake. The problem was that neither drug company ever pointed it out to the regulators. It's an unapproved contaminant that doesn't meet the standards set. So the regulators are off the hook. But if the regulators don't take action, then they dig themselves into a very deep hole. The law requires the FDA to stop the vaccine.

Robert Malone
@RWMaloneMD
just messaged me: “Yes I think that this DNA adulteration issue could be the wedge we have been looking for. Use of a plasmid with SV40 sequences as the template for manufacturing the pseudo-mRNA is, at a minimum, reckless and I can see no logical justification”

All this rage, venom, bile directed at me, instead of at the perpetrators of this scam!!!

One wonders why.

Oooooooooooops actually, one doesn't wonder why, unless one is an absolute idiot, or an EDEN-""investor"", which is much the same thing.

Now, FOAD. Truth hurts. Good.

President Europe, Middle East, Africa at Corteva

I am delighted to share that the 2023 Euroseeds Congress, held this week in Malta, has been Corteva Agriscience's most successful Euroseeds event to date!

I want to give my thanks to those who have made it such a memorable and exceptional event. The team – including Jean Philippe Riffat, Nilceli Fernandes, Stéphanie FOURNOL, Sirbu Daniel Liviu, Thierry REMY, dominique marquet, Oleg Shevchuk, Leonardo C. and Gonçalo Tavares de Almeida – has been on hand to showcase Corteva's Seed Applied Technologies range and latest innovations.

Those in attendance at Euroseeds may have observed a relaxed-looking scarecrow. The reason behind this is the pending arrival of our #Ecovelex™ bird repellent seed treatment. This innovation will take over the scarecrow's role, and like the scarecrow, this product does not harm birds. Its ability to repel is based on its offputting sensory attributes.

Our state-of-the-art booth provided the perfect setting for optimal interactions with attendees. Our team's warm Corteva welcome, enthusiasm and expertise combined with the booths interactive features to create a memorable experience for visitors.

On a personal note, I also want to thank the team for surprising me with a birthday cake! It was a thoughtful, appreciated and delicious gesture.

Next year, the Euroseeds Congress will be in Copenhagen. Until then, it promises to be another productive year ahead as we work to support growers' progress with efficient, sustainable and pioneering innovations.

Repost 14133 reminder of Insecticide Chronicles.

"That product is currently under going field trials with potential partners in fact I'm very pleased to say one of those partners is running in excess of 80 different field trials this year".

Annual Insecticide / development update...2019-2023

15 January 2019;
The opportunities in Eden's core crop protection business are growing well. In addition to the products that Eden has developed and is commercialising through its partners, there are a number of pipeline products which are in the process of being tested by potential partners including several candidate insecticide products which would represent our first entry into the insecticide segment. Whilst it is early in the development of these formulations, initial results have been encouraging.

14 January 2020
Looking forward, we expect to be able to announce further marketing authorisations for both Mevalone and Cedroz as well as progress that is being made with existing and new partners in areas such as seed treatments, insecticides and other applications where the use of our active ingredients and Sustaineä encapsulation technology can bring important benefits to our commercial partners, growers, and ultimately consumers who benefit from sustainable agriculture."

11 February 2021
Development work continued largely as hoped during 2020, including on Eden's insecticide and seed treatment products. In addition, the Company continues to work with a number of parties to develop products that avoid polymer encapsulation using Eden's proprietary Sustaine® technology with third party active ingredients.

2nd March 2022
Development of Eden's seed treatment and insecticide products continues on track with good progress made in 2021 and the Corteva partnership has moved into the next stage of development triggering a milestone payment to Eden.

10 January 2023
Field trials in 2021 and 2022 have produced encouraging results for our insecticide candidates. The Company is pleased to be in position where it has now agreed on a final formulation, entered into testing agreements and sent trial-scale samples to multiple interested parties who are undertaking their own trial work.

Eden has started to see results from its potential partners come in and we are pleased to say that they are, thus far, in line with our own results.
The Company expects there to be a high level of interest for this product, particularly in the key markets of Europe and the US.
