Ask any UK advertising professionals which major publication has the most suggestible readers and the answer will be the Sunday Mail. The Eden puff piece was shameless yet was swallowed hook line and sinker. If you are one of these Mail punters ask yourself why Edens largest shareholder has dumped one third of its holding at a massive loss and is probably disposing of more stock to Mail readers as I write. Perhaps you believe you have a better understanding of Eden than a professional fund manager that held the stock for years. Miaow splat.

Tricky Your post should read so many new mug punters who were given an unbalanced, and frankly misleading, view of the Eden predicament by the Sunday Mail and are about to see their money disappear. Perhaps you should enlighten new investors how much money you have lost on Eden Research. Full disclosure I sold at 18p once I realised how dodgy the company's financial position is.

And as there are so many news investors this last 9 days, it is worth reminding ourselves of commentary in the March 2022 Trading update

Under Corteva

"The seed treatment market is globally worth approximately US$6.5 billion annually with an estimated annual growth rate of between 10 and 12 percent. Eden estimates product sales arising from the successful development and registration of this seed treatment product may reach €20m per year in the short term following launch with significant opportunities for growth in excess of this figure."

So again, it is very easy to see how Eden could/will deliver a very healthy profit quickly, even though this is not yet reflected in the Cenkos report

And this is before contributions from Mevalone, Cedroz and possibly the insecticide in the US in 2024.

We have seen Igor Teslenko, EMEA President, Corteva indicate on LinkedIn about Sunflower Crops and we have also seen seed commentary between Andre Negreiros, Corteva and BASF as detailed here by Supersonico.

I wonder how soon those 'certainly more developments' will be revealed and how much more value that will add to the minds of current and future investors in Eden!!

Sill waiting for Mevalone US confirmation.

Still waiting for a distributor to be appointed for our insecticide.

My guess is we will see a lot more retail investors swarm into Eden as these announcements unfold and further de-risk an investment in Eden Research.

In early 2021 the share price rose to 20.5p in anticipation of Corteva approving Eden's seed product. The share price fell back when it was announced that further trials would be carried out.

Now Corteva have decided on the product and applied for approval, with another seed treatment product to come. A tad further ahead now.
