24/7/2020 12:55 | Eden PR machine goes Brrrrrr Eliminating the impact of intentionally added microplastics | supersonico
24/7/2020 11:10 | Investing, SS told us yesterday that conventional AG is going to use SustainE in the BS 'phase out' narrative period. What are the chances that this involves one, more or all of the big four with EDEN as the 'Consolidator' Short order Lykele has been telling us that for 3 years now and regulatory pressure has only intensified.. Eden has told us about Corteva seeds 'trials' for reducing microplastics but of no other contract with any other ecocidal behemoth. Under these conditions I'm a buyer and so until an RNS are the Right ones who will exploit Eden's terrible reputation for poor asteroid jam tomorrow and limited public awareness of the issues. | supersonico
24/7/2020 10:32 | SHARE PRICE It is hugely disappointing post institutional support and both the Corteva announcement spelling out financials to Eden and the new appointee's for the lab signalling Eden's intentions, that the share price continues to swim in mud. Why is there a continues acceptance or/and apathy towards the share price. Shareholders get despondent and either sell or will sell into any subsequent rise to rid themselves of the emotional burden of their investment. They will look elsewhere and likely fair better elsewhere based on Eden's historical share price performance. There is still a gap in my opinion between the investment community understanding the value in Eden and the value that the investment community ascribes to Eden today. The two don't meet. The question continues to be why and what are Eden and their advisers going to do to rectify the difference? | investingisatrickygame

17/7/2020 19:59 | The organic market ( not just wine ) is growing very fast. I don't think it's a temporary fashion, it's a trend/reality. | sortudo7
17/7/2020 19:28 | erinvale, Any references to back the statement below up or anything you have just stated or is it a personal opinion? 'The 'organic' wine cult is a temporary fashion and should be seen in this light'. I found this interesting; | supersonico
17/7/2020 19:13 | Organic wine differs little from traditionally made wine. Most good producers now operate their vineyards on an organic, or minimal treatment, basis. Winemaking of any kind requires yeast, often cultured, to transform natural sugar into alcohol and sulphur to provide microbial stability. Fining agents are often used to clarify wine pre-bottling. The 'organic' wine cult is a temporary fashion and should be seen in this light. A great marketing pitch for consumers who think that organic is somehow (unspecified) more healthy. Pesticide residues are of concern, but this is a viticultural, not a wine production issue. | erinvale
17/7/2020 12:59 | SA wine producers 'fearful and frustrated', losing R300 million per week Another trend foreseen due to the greater emphasis on health brought about by coronavirus concerns, is an increased demand for organic wine. 'According to Frank Meaker, cellar master at Org de Rac, an organic wine farm in the Swartland region of the Western Cape, its export markets are indicating that the demand for organic wine and food will reach new heights as a result of the way Covid-19 has changed the world and the needs of the consumer'. | supersonico
16/7/2020 20:18 | Investing, Yes I'm optimistic of multiple players in the consolidator mix. I have Corteva/ Bayer / BASF / UPL / Sumitomo on my list of suspects just for starters. | supersonico
