Hey Q12

So good to have you back.

I know why I'm here. Just read some of my delusional Ramping posts and you'll get the picture.

Great time to buy imo.

The most pertinent question Q12 is why with all your grumpyness are you here?

Thanks To our insideWan for this spot. I re post it here as we have discussed Sipcams Herbicides here previously and it maybe the first glimpse of the Sipcam/Eden Sustaine partnership.

What is also of interest is this is the first Video (Sipcam Italia: novelty in the weeding of corn) that Sipcam have released in 6 months most likely made at the new HQ. It will be interesting to see if there are any references, explicit or implicit to this from the next Eden report that tie it to Sipcams 2019 growing season time line narrative.

As soon as we see this in place with Eastman coming up in 2019/20 as well the Eden Needle will move quickly , so now is a good time to add imo. These are big players with big already established markets and generous PR pockets in a market ripe for novel solutions.
…………………………………………………………………….
Tonale®

In corn weeds, the innovation of Sipcam Italia aims at solutions that can be applied both in pre-emergency and in post-precocious conditions

The progressive change in the climate of recent years, characterized by relatively abrupt transition from one season to the next and the arrival of genetics that lend themselves to advances and very extensive postponements of sowing, has made decisions regarding the control of weeds more complex. This is because weeding can do very little if done correctly, or not.

Over time it was therefore necessary to consider interventions that were not strictly pre-emergency, widely the most widespread, or just post. In this sense, the option to intervene on a period of time that embraces pre-emergence practices on one hand, leaving open the door to post-precocious interventions, that is, on crops at the stage of two true leaves.

This solution makes it possible to widen the time window of intervention, thus escaping most of the whims of the season and gaining a few days, prolonging the effectiveness of the products in the field. Then, it will be the weather to maximize or minimize the effect, generating or not those rains that normally reactivate the active substances allowing them to act even after several days from application.

However, if the weather can not be influenced, much can be done in the choice of products. First of all, no molecule alone can suffice. In other words, multi-way blends must be chosen, in order to maximize the spectrum of action of the herbicide intervention. It is necessary to combine in a single treatment active substances with different spectrum and mode of action, so as not to leave cracks through which some weeds may enter and proliferate.

Sipcam Italy, always very careful to meet the needs of farmers, is now close to the launch of Tonale® (available for the 2019 campaign), a corn herbicide to be applied both in the pre-emergency and in the early post, resulting in able to control all the main broad and narrow leaves, including the most difficult.

Tonale® will be formulated with an innovative suspension of microcapsules, the optimal formulation in terms of selectivity for corn, able to progressively deliver its active substances over time, prolonging the persistence of action and allowing the control of the scalar births of the weeds .

Soon on the market the new solution of Sipcam Italy for the weeding of pre-emergency corn before post.

Our strategy
TerpeneTech believes that the future of Biocides lies in the development and commercialization of effective natural based products. Plant based products represent the new frontier as plants use Terpenes in their natural defense and Terpenes have demonstrated excellent repellent, insecticidal and anti-microbial properties. As many insecticidal actives and synergists have been found to be potentially harmful to humans, pets and the environment they have been removed from the market, professionals and consumers have fewer tools at their disposal to fight insect vector borne diseases. With potentially dangerous insects and diseases moving further northward from Africa there is an urgency to develop effective and safe products to protect populations.

We are delighted that Cedroz and Eden partner Eastman have been short-listed for “Best New Biological Product” at this year’s Agrow Awards! Eastman is Eden’s exclusive partner for the bionematicide B2Y in nearly 30 countries. #sustaine

Question- given what you and others know and we have the interims due any time soon why isn’t there much interest and demand for Eden shares?

If we look back as I have done on previous RNS's Eden we can see that in 2 of the 3 verticals Eden have not been seen to deliver. That being Consumer health and Animal heath. TT and Bayer.

They have visibility of growing income and strategy development with crop protection which has been the PR engine/tip of the Edenberg and been the news producer while TT and Bayer have been in the future. That looks like a strategy to me but may be just coincidence.

Many of the pool of risk taking investors persuaded by 4 years of TT/Bayer promises are either locked in here or numbed by long road Eden have travelled and wait patiently for some solid news which will mean the Eden income model is sustainable and will not involve another placing. That's my reasoning as to why we are so bereft of interest.

This next update should be strong for Crop protection visibility and provide insight into how well 3aey is being adopted by repeated and new customers.

The most interesting part for me will be either TT/Bayer will still be in the long grass with another Paternal Short Order type pat on the head or some real tangible info..which will be a first and game changing and together with Crop protection gains make Eden look like their plan is finally profitable long term. That should bring more interest.

I would also not be surprised if another strategic partner is announced for one or both of the other verticals, who will take a stake and inject more cash which Eden can use to further expand it's own trials and grow the business. Hopefully this will have similar global reach type benefits to Eden like the Sipcam Investment did.

The new Chairman came in to support and Challenge the management Team so this next update will be interesting from that perspective as well.

Obviously I believe they will announce more but I've bored you enough with that already.

SuperI am glad you have some influence over Mrs100k if both of you managed to accumulate a substantial holding. Question- given what you and others know and we have the interims due any time soon why isn't there much interest and demand for Eden shares?Isn't true to say the market always better & this is reflected in the share price, which currently on the low side.

Norhtwick,

I'm not angry, the low price over the years has aloud me to accumulate a sizable chunk of shares precisely because of the chronic delays so I have TT and Bayer to thank for that. It would be difficult to accumulate a decent stake at this stage without pushing the price up and being played by the MM's.

I'm an ardent supporter and do believe historically that the combined issues of regulation and seasonal testing make this a long game.

That said I do think we are close and the signals are positive despite the incongruent words. I have taken the annual disappointing 'in the coming months' narrative hook out of my mouth and patiently wait by the waters edge.

2018 because they have said income WILL come in this calendar year from TT and Bayer.

Have they said that before? Sure, so why say again unless you're certain.

Again, much of this frustration and mistrust could be eliminated with proper shareholder engagement.

Do shareholders trust the BoD to deliver? Jury out I reckon.

Do shareholders believe what the BoD tells them. Again, jury out, simply because of being let down so many times as Michael Walters stated at this years AGM.

Does the BoD have the belief in the power of communication and the experience of delivering the same with an AIM listed Plc? Not that I'm aware of.

They may be great with IP, biochemistry, financial management and industry engagement, but they are a Plc and that means that the share price and those invested in it are critical to your business and your listing.

Eden continually fails to plan and execute this and hence the frustration in your post, one of the most loyal investors and supporters of their opportunity.

Why 2018?

Every other 'in the coming months' has not materialised.

It could be anytime, tomorrow even, but they have been so useless at sticking to time scales with regard to TT and Bayer forecasts I have no faith in them delivering TT/Bayer in 2018 or even 2020.

It will come but who knows when?

The 'in short order' windup only adds to my opinion that they are stringing us along because of the NDA's.

NDA's regarding Bayer/TT that are Eden bigger than we have been told imo.

Super,

We hope you're right and value outs, but this has to be delivered in 2018. Any further delays for whatever reason will surely send investors elsewhere.

I can totally understand Eden having the business valued later in the year if/when these scheduled events drop in the coming weeks and months. This would be logical to encompass all of the inbuilt value.

Let's hope this happens

The lack of PR/investor information/analyst research has to be intentional rather than incompetence imo.

So the question for me is ..why?

The answer I believe is Edenberg..we don't know the half of it.

Bayer/Sumitomo NDA's

No fizz in the share price until eyes are watching and ears are listening, hopefully to something positive and immediately impactful from Eden.

They need to take greater management of the share price from which they have been disconnected for far too long.

'Tech' companies measure on very healthy P/E ratios. Edens share price isn't reflecting that at all.

Norhtwick,

I think your right I think 200% should be the at the lower end of our expectations especially as the charging/supply structure has been enhanced since last years figures...300-400% would be my hope, that alone would put some fizz in the share price

TT Caterpillar to Bayer Butterfly is my expectation.
