Investing..some commentary on your post 14455;

Super,

to anyone paying attention and understanding Eden, it is very clear (to me at least) that as a company, Eden is about to become significant in its market and I imagine, very significant to Corteva.

........

AGREED Investing and I think it's important to note the build up of talent in France where on 15 December 2022 Corteva and Eden signed a new distribution deal.
Just prior to that announcement, 9 months ago Nilceli Fernandes (a pivitol character in the Eden evolution imo) told us that Corteva were seeking a SAT Stewardship Leader to be based in France . This post adds to the recently opened France based SAT centres long list of talent including my new best friend Andre Negreiros both of whom previously have had senior roles at Syngenta (as many Corteva seed treatment folk have). Interestingly Nilceli worked for both companies simultaneously between Sept 19 and April 22 which may point to Syngenta being our second Seed treatment player..we'll see. I would not be surprised if there is some undisclosed agreement between both companies. I mention this as my guess would be that we should expect something particularly interesting coming out of this deal as I think it may have a seed treatment component. How else do Eden get the predicted 10 fold increase in revenues?

###############

Where does that position Corteva in terms of its abilities to satisfy the seed market for farmers, globally?
...
THE sensitivity of Censorship Smith or Andre Negreiros around my BASF posting and the Royalty commentary further strengthens my view that Atty has it Spot on in his earlier 14444 post

###########

Who will be the beneficiary of Eden's 4 insect insecticide and will they have regional or global rights? Will that insecticide also find its way onto seeds?
..
Every major multi billion $$ AG company.

Europe is just one continent? There is 7 worldwide
Repelling birds on Maize is just one problem on one crop
One continent, one problem, one crop = €40 million per annum

Eden only needs to commercialise its insecticide and update the market on its Corteva arrangements and the stocks underlying value will already be in the £'s, even if the market hasn't cottoned on to it. It is just simple maths.
..

AGREED and I anticipate far more commentary in relation to the Indian and Chinese markets where I expect UPL and Syngenta to play an important role amplifying the UN 2030 agenda.

Just a reminder of an exchange between Corteva and BASF.

Since I posted this Andre Negreiros linkedin has gone dark on me.

So when that happens it likely means I'm over the target.

Thanks Sean / Andre for the steer

Buckle up.

Super,

from your post 14436, you quoted Corteva as saying

"While on the seed side we are focusing on proprietary trade technology an area we have traditionally lagged but now feel very confident in our position."

Whose the proprietor? Eden? ANO?

You have to believe from the Corteva video showing Nematicide, Fungicide, Insectide seed coatings that Eden is a part of that, wouldn't you?

Might Eden and Corteva JV on seeds for certain specifics or geographies?

I for one can't wait to hear how deep this relationship is or is going to be.

With Ecovelex possibly delivering around €40 million p.a. in the EU as RNS'd by Eden and as detailed in the recent Cenkos note, what might the £'s value be of Eden's relationship with Corteva across multiple SAT's?

€40 million.p.a. for one seed application for one geography, Europe!

AttyG's post, 14431, citing £10 a share is a real possibility based on these numbers alone when you add additional seeds to the Eden/Corteva portfolio.

Investing,

We also might reasonably assume that the captured regulators might be able to magically turn a can take 18-24 month period into a 2024 growing season.

Good finds. You might reasonably assume that Eden is a long-term strategic partner for Corteva in their drive to their new goals as described. At least I would.

What Chuck says...

If as Chuck says 'all new seed products now meet Corteva’s sustainability criteria' does this mean Ecovelex is going to be on every Corteva broadacre seed.?

Corteva Agriscience Announces Progress on Sustainability Goals

“Sustainability is at the heart of our business,” said Chuck Magro, Chief Executive Officer, Corteva Agriscience. “We are working to solve complex food and energy security challenges while preserving the long-term health and viability of farmland and other natural resources.”

As part of the company’s efforts to advance sustainable innovation, 90 percent of new crop protection products and all new seed products now meet Corteva’s sustainability criteria, which are aligned to United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Ashish Batra
Global Regulatory Affairs and R&D Sustainability Leader at Corteva Agriscience

'Last week I had the opportunity to represent Corteva Agriscience on a sustainable farming and regenerative agriculture panel at the annual Global Farm to Market conference hosted by BMO Capital Markets. I shared Corteva’s beliefs that farmers are the most important stewards of the land and our natural resources, and how we firmly believe that agriculture has the power to make a positive environmental impact. Farmers require more sustainable solutions that help drive yield and production resiliency and both our crop protection and seed pipelines are now 100% aligned with our sustainability criteria'.

Chuck Magro CEO / Corteva

May 9th Research and development Innovation update.

'What's exciting to understand is that when we get to the 2025 goals, our portfolio will be significantly different with the overall quality of our business improving.
On the crop protection side about two thirds of our portfolio will be differentiated driven by new technology we are bringing to market along with the decision to exit more commodity type products.

While on the seed side we are focusing on proprietary trade technology an area we have traditionally lagged but now feel very confident in our position.

Over the period 2020 to 2025, royalty expenses will be reduced by by over 40% while royalty income will almost triple.'
