Net debt up 17% and with a potential no deal Brexit round the corner; quite serious for a haulage company. One to watch if a deal to move goods is reached.

Results look very good and with predicted yield of 5% and peg less than 1 and forward p/e of 11, good value - or am I missing something?

Perhaps - ESL is better placed than many to withstand imo. Very well run business.Either way results this week will confirm.

Hauliers having a nightmare with diesel price comparitives, shortage of hgv drivers and agency rates going through the roof.

@harvestor ... Yes, rising fuel costs will hurt them. But their competitors are all facing exactly the same problem and I don't see this as a material issue.

High street retail is in meltdown. On line retail and home delivery are pushing ahead. ESL will win more than it will lose out of these changes.

Yes, it is dropping and seemingly bringing Stobart Group with it. Woodford could be a forced seller ATM. Hold fast.

Berenberg today initiates coverage of Eddie Stobart Logistics Plc Ord Gbp0.01 (LON:ESL) with a buy investment rating and price target of 190p

Numis price target 185p (from 19th Jan)

Anyone got a clue when the ex-div date for this share is? In theory it should be early March, but I can't find any details for it anywhere.

Although I am invested here, I can't stand organisations with poor IR. I have written numerous times to their CFO and their IR consultants and never get a reply.

I doubled my holding here today. Take opportunity where I can. I normally like news driven events but the fall just seems opportunistic by market makers and I decided the risk was worth it. Stobart was also hit - probably because of the fall here - so I added there too!

This is well below IPO price now if I remember correctly, wasn't it 160p?

It is an astonishing drop given that the price had been in such a tight range for over a year. Even more so, given that the results and news coming of the business seem positive.

I assume that there will be RNS's in due course highlight reduce holdings.

Fidelity are snuffling them up, but someone seems to have gone berserk. Perhaps we'll have an announcement soon. I wonder if it's Stobart divesting their remaining holding.

just seen @ 148p (!), 83000 sold ; now wonder can buy at the bid price.
who is selling ? and with the size of the selling would think an RNS is due.
