09/7/2019 07:47 | Results as expected I guess. Debt down a little which is positive. not much else to be too positive about. | mongrels3
08/7/2019 16:58 | First Woodford reducing RNS outDBAY buying from distressed seller | value viper
27/6/2019 20:38 | Wondering if we'll see H1 trading update sometime tomorrow. Just basing it on the release of it this time last year | 57eady eddie
26/6/2019 17:04 | OK Thanks Stu | markoldroyd99
23/6/2019 18:22 | Mark, I would expect a trading update for H1 in the next couple of weeks with the interim report issued late August | stur7672
23/6/2019 18:03 | In the past two years there was an interim report issued at the end of May. There hasn't been one so far this year - anyone know why ? | markoldroyd99
21/6/2019 12:11 | Well remembered! Yes, Creston | mongrels3
21/6/2019 08:09 | Very interesting that DBAY have taken a 10% interest in ESL. I held Harvey Nash (HVN) when they did the same thing and about 12-15 months later they took it out completely. They also did exactly the same thing with another business which I can't remember without looking it up. It may have been St Ives Group (from memory). | mongrels3
19/6/2019 20:04 | Well there's a surprise. I wonder what their problem was. That means we may still have Woodford and Stobart to contend with. | zangdook
19/6/2019 19:22 | Fidelity cleared their 5%+ stake. Had a feeling someone had cleared today as the price suddenly started reacting to the trades as opposed to a seemingly bottomless pit of shares being available. | gary1966
18/6/2019 16:41 | He had 25% of 379 million shares, so there may be more to come, or he may not be selling them all. Perhaps there'll be some RNSs in the morning. I don't know if Stobart Group have been selling too? Presumably not at these levels. | zangdook
18/6/2019 16:16 | Some enormous trades earlier. Is that Woodford out, perhaps? Looks like a good buying opportunity here soon. | jensonbensonjohnson
17/6/2019 09:45 | More weirdness. 70.99 to buy, 71 to sell. | zangdook
14/6/2019 17:12 | I'm not sure they're sells. I haven't bought any today but last time I did they went through at the bid. I suppose there's a huge sell order in the background, most likely Woodford or Stobart or both. | zangdook
14/6/2019 14:31 | This looks enormously resilient at the moment. 100% sells day after day and it's refusing to go any lower | jensonbensonjohnson
10/6/2019 15:58 | very weird. I can buy for 73 and sell for 73.1. Unfortunately I don't have enough cash to hand to make it worth bothering, so I just bought a few. | zangdook
07/6/2019 18:27 | @DevonWood That was exceptionally helpful of you - much appreciated. I don't hold any Woodford stocks, but hope it all goes well for you. I think ESL has a lot of potential, subject to new relationship with Europe (and debt management); and has some relatively new C-suite who could make big difference to the company. It's had quite a turbulent history :-) Thanks again. | the runt
07/6/2019 16:35 | As mentioned previous , high(ish) debt BUT manageable Good growth semi justifies the additional recent debt burden Higher than previous debt may have accounted for initial fall from 140 down to the 100 level Subsequent falls are on the back of Woodford I cannot actually see much further to go down , Woodford or otherwise Assuming good numbers at the end of the month this should reverse strongly and quick | rounder2 |
