Market not showing sells otherwise the price would have recovered more with the volume of buys so far.

ECSC Management not capable of scaling!!!It took them 16 years to get to £4.5 million revenue, after listing they had to come out of their comfort zone and perform to external expectations which is beyond them. It's company specific problem not a sector related as admitted by ECSC sector is booming ..Buy Falanx FLXFalanx is in good hands seasoned management with vast experience in running very big businesses that they've scaled

Yet again shows how managements can make or break businesses...Amazing how quickly they messed up in a booming sector, this management really need to look at them selves and ask a question are we capable of scaling which after today's warning again i think they're NOT!!

Definitely a few growing pains, but I take some comfort that there are no lame excuses due to some outside influence beyond their control which can often be the case when companies report a target shortfall.

Yes a little bit more positivity would have been good. No end on sight for the market to hang onto.

Interims not very confidence inducing: "In light of the lower revenue levels currently being generated, the Board, whilst protecting key revenue generating resources, has reviewed the operational cost base of the Company and identified a number of savings which will be immediately implemented. Whilst these savings, together with the Company's growing revenue levels, will materially reduce the monthly EBITDA loss, they will not be sufficient to fully offset the reduced revenue levels and therefore we also expect full year EBITDA to be below market expectations."

Great post. Fully agree. I'm in, great sector. If the management can start to perform these will fly.

Around 200p at the start of 2017, the share price boomed to 600p by results day. Then investors took fright on the argument that the company felt its business plan was not scaleable and the price collapsed to pre-listing levels. I trebled my position at the bottom and substantially restored.my paper losses, probably from the closing of short positions. Today, the share price is up 22% today without news support - so perhaps there was less wrong with the company than suggested by the panic raised by the trading statement in June. The sector cyber security remains very attractive.. The recent T/U confirmed that the BOD ".remains confident of the long-term success of the business" , despite the delays it sees in sales conversion and the loss expected for the FY If there are any plus points to the H1 report on Thursday 28th of this month there is a huge upside to restore, which would make a 3-bagger from a standing start .If one squints badly one can discern a cup and saucer completing on the bottom of the chart. Still a high risk, but the share price signal today makes it Very Tempting. Recoveries can often be more lucrative and certainly quicker than higher highs from popular, overbought, well managed companies

Agree that's why I was asking. Didn't know if it had been tipped anywhere. Can't see any changes from the company to drive this move up.

I have been following these rather lethargically and by luck saw last night's price so have been buying since early this morning;I see that 47m already traded so far today so big numbers for ECSC. What I have always liked about them compared to BLTG and NCC-which I also hold- is that they have stable management and have grown organically.

This is a sector that really should be making money hand over fist right now, yet for some reason most seem to be finding it hard work. A for company statements how about: We note the recent fall in the company share price but are reluctant to say anything until we release our next profit warning as we would prefer to keep our shareholders in the dark. We would like to drive the price down so that we can then issue the BOD with a shed load of options so that we can bolster our already grossly inflated salaries. It is most likely it will take a couple of profit warnings to get to the desired price, but we cannot tell you that as it will most likely spoil the fun. I am not a holder here but do hold shares in the sector.

This week's edition of Click "Fear and coding in Las Vegas" is devoted entirely to Cyber security, quite scary, but well worth a watch: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b08zqpm0/click-fear-and-coding-in-las-vegas
