13/5/2021 08:58 | Scars, agree with the punt comment, but the contamination one is not correct. Man made contamination will usually exhibit as very high readings although its comparatively easy forensically to isolate any sources of contamination, as geology is like a fingerprint. I've not based my investment on the ground levels, but it would be an added bonus if they show up as reported. Was more interested in the comments about 'initial geological interpretation...'. I'm not a spread better, but a long term investor, unless something gets reported that I really don't like, so look forward to reading posts on this bb and seeing if ECR progresses. With most of the world's fiat currency presses working 24/7 and with massive debts only serviced by tiny interest rates, I don't see fiat as a safe haven. The US inflation figures demonstrate that sooner rather than later interest rates will HAVE to rise, and those debt bubbles will put many at risk. Gold and resources are in my opinion a safer haven. If you add to that world intention of cutting out hydrocarbons, going for renewables, that's going to require a massive amount of resources, copper, gold, silver and all the other resources required to transition, and if inflation rises if it costs that much more to produce, it will have to be worth more. The days of Comex and friends manipulation of the resource sector are limited in my opinion. Writing 500oz of a resource on paper where only 1oz of physical exists, is OK in the virtual world, but when we have companies that need to PRODUCE using these resources these manipulative methods to suppress prices fail miserably. The irony is this manipulative paper market has aided other countries busily adding gold, silver and resources | pensionplanner
13/5/2021 08:56 | RE Baileston.. Soil samples aside, this is very encouraging: 'Initial geological interpretation of holes BH3DD005, 6 and 7 indicates that the hypothesised central anticline does exist and represents a favourable target for hosting gold mineralisation such as limb-thrust type vein systems.' | pete_edwards
13/5/2021 08:50 | You're absolutely correct, the soil samplig is just indicative. that's what all the drilling's about... But, data gathering from soil sampling serves as an initial survey which helps to suggest WHERE to investigate further by drilling. Interesting to me, then, that those encouraging results from such soil samples were gathered "across the central and eastern" part at Baileston. Right over the buried anticlinal structure, then..? | linz22
13/5/2021 08:45 | All exploration is a punt, the risk and costs are all up front. On the sample front, yes you can get contamination, but usually that would not show as very high, so is more of a reliable indicator. | scars
13/5/2021 08:41 | You can never trust ground samples though, as they are easily contaminated. But even if you discount those extraordinarily high readings, its worth a Punt and I bought 'a few' this morning. Added to my other resource stocks. | pensionplanner
13/5/2021 08:40 | It doesn't say that they've moved on to the next target, or that they are drilling more holes where they are. I think they're onto something and CB will be the hero of the hour! | excellance
13/5/2021 08:36 | Positive RNS. Good to hear they're getting on with it at Creswick. And, positive data from soil sampling, across Bailieston, is always encouraging, if only indicative. I found the following, from Bailleston, of most interest: "Initial geological interpretation of holes BH3DD005, 6 and 7 indicates that the hypothesised central anticline does exist and represents a favourable target for hosting gold mineralisation such as limb-thrust type vein systems..". Whilst one cannot know if, or how, financially beneficial that might prove to be, it does at least prove the existence of the hypothesised structure, which is a positive in itself. So, now they know what they're dealing with at Baileston. It is exploration, after all... | linz22
13/5/2021 08:35 | All the Geo and sampling is pointing to a very prosperous outcome, it is just time. 1M buy close to 1.9 might light the touch paper. | scars
13/5/2021 08:30 | The RNS says they've found the incline that they hypothesised was there. This should host gold. | excellance
13/5/2021 08:23 | You pays your money you take your chance rodders, everyone ones the markets leak like a sieve! Where there is money there is corruption. Longer term play here and happy to be back in at these lower prices. Potential upside is enormous, minimal downside risk from here. | scars
13/5/2021 07:55 | Proves my theory with yesterday's little rise that RNS's are leaked ... maybe not the content but a tip off that one is going through the pipes and then you take the risk of good or bad | onedayrodders
13/5/2021 07:43 | Extreemly exiting News creswick drilling underway!! Potential multi million ounce deposits! Those Potential JV partners will be glued to this ready to pounce | oildon11
13/5/2021 07:37 | Fingers crossed. | soulsauce
13/5/2021 07:32 | Great update, 2 drills and positive news from Baileston at last. I’d say that RNS was worth the wait. Looking forward to all those further drill results. Very exciting, it’s certainly hotting up! GLA | pete_edwards
13/5/2021 07:29 | Additionally, soil sampling from the HR3 area (see below) has identified very high gold grades in soil. Like the word very! | scars
13/5/2021 07:26 | This should start to rally and improve . A lot of action and news flow to come on both licenses | talkman2
13/5/2021 07:14 | Positive RNS | excellance
12/5/2021 21:33 | Tested the bottom again and finished up, positive sign for the week to come. | scars
12/5/2021 15:14 | Some chunky buying today. | excellance
12/5/2021 09:28 | CB destroyed trust in him by saying we were well funded, then having a placement for no apparent reason. He needs to deliver some good news and reiterate that he will not dilute in future - unless necessary to do so. | barony
12/5/2021 09:09 | See how ORR has shot up after an operational drilling update. Take note CB | pete_edwards
12/5/2021 06:51 | Looking forward to the next news. Looking on the cheaper side now if there is anything positive then should see a good rise from this loer base. Back in this week on expectation alone! | scars
11/5/2021 21:43 | Even if the placing was a PR mistake due to the previous comment about being well funded, it doesn't mean that taking the cash isn't the right thing to do for the business. Waffle aside, I'm happy to let them get on with it and deliver us into the land of milk and honey. | excellance
11/5/2021 21:36 | I think CB wanted the cash for flexibility, that the plan has changed, and took the cash on offer, tho he may not NEED the cash it makes decision making a lot easier. Hd obviously can't tell much if we are close to a formal agreement with a third party, and we are flapping over nothing. This will come good. | excellance
11/5/2021 21:33 | ...I did sense that CB felt pressured into admitting the placing was a mistake after the backlash. Although it contradicted his earlier statement and left a bad taste in the mouth, if the extra cash fast tracks Creswick and we get a much better deal out of it then it will be seen as a master stroke in the future. Thinking positive, but who knows! | pete_edwards |
